This college is just good for placements.

Placements: Most of the students got placed well. The highest salary package offered is nearly 35 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are HCL, Intuit, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc. But our college is not that good. If you want to gain knowledge, faculty members are not that good to provide. Internships are offered only to the CS department.

It is one of the good colleges in Karnataka.

Placements: Almost 30% of mechanical students got placed in core companies, and 30% of them placed in mass recruiting companies like TCS and Accenture. But as batch strength is increasing every year, competition is also increasing. But you can expect decent placements if you have good grades and knowledge.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the facilities, fest and sports. But good for placements of only CS.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Especially for CS branch, the placements are awesome. The placements are not that good for mechanical because of more strength. There are 160 mechanical students, and only about 40-50% get placed. Benz, Bosch, TVS, Toyota etc. are some of the big companies that came for placements of the mechanical branch.

Placements are absolutely dissatisfying but the faculty is good. Overall, an above average college.

Placements: Placements in our college are really not that good. Only 3 to 4 companies will be conducting the placement drives at our college. In our college, we do have placement training sessions which are really not that helpful. Even the salary packages offered by the companies are really low.

Infrastructure is bad. Faculty is good. Placements are not good enough.

Placements: Placements are done quite well. Students placed in mechanical engineering are less in recent years. CS EC IS students gets placed well. If you are capable enough you will be placed. Last year placements are not as expected. Overall 60 to 70 companies will attend, but students taken by them are less.

Don't join the civil branch in NIE, Mysore.

Placements: The number of companies visiting this college for the civil engineering students is very less. Last year, there were 3 companies and this year also it is the number 3. The percentage of students getting selected for the interview (forget the job, I'm talking about students clearing the aptitude test) is lesser than 10 percent. The highest salary offered is Rs. 8 LPA (one 2018 passing student), and the lowest is Rs. 2.8 LPA. There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not bringing any com...

An Average bubble, Average placements, Average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering is very tough, but National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is better compared to other colleges in Karnataka. Recruited 5 students from Vedanta steels, Production engineer, Orissa, 5.5 Lacs CTC. Continental Co, Design Engineer, Bangalore, 4.25 Lacs CTC, r...

It is an average college.

Placements: The college provides good placement. But the placement office does not take care of people who come to recruit students, and they have to improve a lot. I got placed, but my friends from mechanical are still searching for a job, and it has been 3 years we passed out. I don't know about other fields, but the mechanical course is not so good.
