NIE is the best college for EEE.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced, have good knowledge, and who can teach very easily. Curriculum is also good. There are many subjects to gain good knowledge about electrical electronics. Exam pattern is better compared to VTU College.

I am satisfied because of faculty and people in Mysore are very good.

Faculty: Teachers are fully friendly with students and their teaching style is also good and understandable. Course curriculum is very good and it also helps in building students' skills practically and theoretically. Semester exams in our college are a bit difficult and pass percentage is 6.5 CGPA.

Poor but memorable life.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum needs improvement in many ways. They use semester-based exams, which involve three internals that take much time, wasting time for mugging up. There is no practical use of such exams, but they are quite good.

Satisfied with the college and placements are excellent.

Faculty: Faculty is excellent. The course curriculum is good. There is a CIE which is internal and SEE which is a semester-end exam. After the semester-end exam, there is two to three weeks' holiday for students, which is good. After every semester, there is one to two months' holidays.

Best college to join and best weather, with a good environment. All facilities available are good.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and friendly. Well-equipped labs. Exams are very strict and tough, with the highest CGPA being 8 or 9. Five-day classes per week. Half days are there in between. Good lab facilities. Good atmosphere. Best sports complex.

My college life was average with difficult curriculum and average placements

Faculty: Faculty is quite good most are PhD holders. They have good understanding over concepts and very dedicated and committed while they are teaching and encourage students to take part in many core club events so that they will get good exposure towards the subject knowledge.

Why you should do mechanical engineering in NIE Mysuru!

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and supportive during project work, and also faculty members are well qualified and some of them were from IT. Making students industry-ready is a quite challenging task but to some extent, our college has done a great job by teaching us various software used in the industry for example, SolidWorks and Ansys. These 2 programs are used in the mechanical design industry. Some colleges won't teach you these programs, but our college did. The semester exams are quite tough...

Good faculty, okay infrastructure; placement is now a bit less but back in the day it was great.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They have a lot of experience. Some are a bit strict but that's in other courses, while others are friendly and helpful. The quality of teaching is also good. Yes, the course is curriculum relevant and the college also provides students with different curriculum courses to make them industry-ready. The semester-end exams are a bit difficult. You might feel that they are giving you less time to prepare. In the beginning, I felt certain subjects were dif...

Our college is good for engineering, it is recommended in Mysore.

Faculty: The faculty members here are very strict and will only help in academic related issues. Although they are well versed in the field of teaching. Our college is an autonomous Institute, conduct exams by itself. Exams here are very strict. The re-examination fee is comparatively high.

Good for North Indian students who scored 90–96 percentile in JEE Main.

Faculty: Teaching quality is nice. Teachers are kind and helpful. The course curriculum is very good and in my opinion, it will definitely help students a lot and make them industry-ready. Clearing the exam is easy; you have to go through the notes and pdfs shared by teachers. That's all you need to easily score good marks.

I recommend this college.

Faculty: The civil engineering department is the oldest department in the institution, with very experienced professors who support students in exploring their interests. The curriculum is very diverse, gives a good overview of all the subjects, and helps in developing a career.

The hidden secret of NIE.

Faculty: The faculty here is mixed, like some are pretty average while some are exceptional, but everyone has at least a master's degree. The curriculum here is decided as per the college's case; it is autonomous, and the timetable of the exam is also decided by the college itself.

It is an excellent college in Karnataka for engineering courses.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and interactive. They are friendly with students. They always clarify our doubts. Doubt-clearing sessions are also held. Students from NIE are successfully placed and have good jobs. Semester exams are hard.

Our college is very good in terms of placements.

Faculty: Many teachers are doctorates. They are Ph.D. holders. Most of them are strict in terms of attendance. Courses are selected by students. The majority of courses chosen by students are allotted for the semester. Exams are conducted very strictly. The passing marks are 40.
