Yes, there are many employment opportunities offered by the government sector for MCA students. Thus, those who have completed their MCA degrees from NIE can seek out various job opportunities in the public sector.

Some of the reputed India PSUs to work for are NTPC, BHEL, GAIL, EIL, etc. Those who are willing to work in such PSUs have to appear for various government exams, such as UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Exams, Staff Selection Commission (SSC), etc. Students recruited by the public sector of India can expect to start with a salary ranging from INR 5 LPA to INR 6 LPA.

Yes, The National Institute of Engineering, North Campus, provides a relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to the reserved category. This relaxation is provided to support students belonging to the underprivileged section of society.

As per the institute's official website, general category students seeking admission to the MCA must have completed a valid UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks. While for students belonging to the SC/ST category, the institute offers a 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Thus, candidates who belong to the aforementioned categories are eligible if they have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in a bachelor's degree.

At NIE North Campus Mysore, students can opt for hostel facilities. The institute has constructed two brand new hostels, one for boys and another for girls. These hostels are equipped with all modern amenities, including 24*7 hot water facilities, attached bathrooms, laundry facilities, TV rooms, sports rooms, and more. 

The accommodations are provided on a sharing basis. The boys hostel has 49 triple accommodations, two double accommodations, and four guest rooms. While the girls hostel has 40 triple accommodations, two double accommodations, and four guest rooms. As per official sources, the hostel fees for MCA students is INR 3.5 lakh.
