Many companies like Intuit, JP Morgan, SAP, etc. Which did not go to many other colleges in and around Mysore had come for placements in our college. The highest package provided was by Intuit of 25 LPA, and companies like McKinsey also came with package of 16 LPA. The lowest package was around 2.5-3 LPA, by companies like Accenture, TCS, etc. Placement rate for our branch i...

Excellent college for placements.

Placements: Placements in NIE are very good compared to other COMEDK colleges. Since 3 years placements has been around 100% for CS and is branch. For other branches it has been around 70-80%. Companies like Cisco, Deloitte, J. P Morgan, Benz and many others come for campus recruitment. The highest package this year was Intuit which offered 25 LPA. Average package goes around 6-6.5. Internships are student dependent and they have to find themselves.

NIE MYSURU, Good college, good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placement cell in the college is dynamic and up to date with the current job trends. I have been placed at Amazom Web Services as a Cloud Support Associate. Each year the placement percentage of CS and IS branches is above 80% and for other branches it is well above 65%. However, placement depends on individual efforts and knowledge.

One of the best top colleges in Karnataka.

Placements: National Institute of Engineering is one of the top colleges in Karnataka, and there is no doubt at all about placements because a lot of companies are arriving for the campus selection, and those who have attended the campus, almost all the students are selected for top companies.

The college had good placements and decent infrastructure.

Placements: The placements scenario is satisfactory, and around 60 IT-companies are visiting the campus every year like big names such as Cisco, and the mass recruiters like TCS. The highest salary package can be from 10-16 lacs per annum, and the average salary package was 3.25 lacs per annum. The college does not provide the internship opportunities.

Good infrastructure and teaching.

Placements: As I am in the first year, I don't know much about the placements, but many IT companies are coming for campus interviews. The companies like Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro and many more are hiring students from our college. The placements training and coaching is good.

Our college is a very good college, helping us to bring our best.

Placements: My placements haven't happened yet. They are due in july. Hope we get into good companies. Other campus recruitments from are college are really appreciable. We have a decent atmosphere around and that is what makes our college so renowned and disciplined.

The college has good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: It is a good college with good opportunities. The core companies and mass recruiting companies visit the campus for placements. The placements on the campus are above average. The average salary offered was around 3 LPA to 7 LPA. The complexity differs between companies, and hard work is very much required for students to get a job. The placement percentage has decreased compared to the last year.

By 3 years of experience in this college, I satisfied with the campus, placements, and faculty.

Placements: The placements for CSE and ISE are good, anyone with decent GPA can easily get placed in the mid-tier company. But when it comes to the core branches, the placements aren't good. Many core companies visit the campus but hire only a few students. TCS and Accenture are the mass recruiters and hire more than 300 students every year.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: There are 100% placements in our college for CSE. Our placements are better than our senior batch. This year, many new companies arrive for placement in the 7th semester itself. More than 50% of the students got placed, and more companies are yet to come. This is a wonderful college in terms of education and placements.

It is a great college to study in.

Placements: The placements are really great in our college. We do have a placements cell in our college. And, the authorities help us a lot to get placed in many companies. But, there are limited companies for MCA branch compared to other engineering branches.

The good college to become great.

Placements: It's been two years since I joined this college and the college lives up to its reputation when it comes to the placements. For the past two years, the placements have been good. Our college guarantees 100% placement, and it certainly delivers on that front. Last year, a guy from CS bagged the highest placement for 24 LPA and this year its a girl from IS with 25 LPA. This is about the outstanding students. But even average students have good opportunities as many mass companies, and a fair share...

Satisfactory college which provides overall exposure for students but a bit of lesser college life.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science and information science students with an average package of about 6-7 LPA, but the mechanical branch placements are the best as compared to other mechanical engineering branches from other colleges. The companies such as Cisco, SAP laps, Motto was one of the top recruiters on the campus.

Placements: Placement wise, NIE is quite good where almost 70% of the students get placed. Approximately, the ratio of the placements will be like 50% from the mechanical branch, 60% from the electrical, 80% from the electronic, and 70% from the information science. Our seniors had a pretty good placement than us, differs around 20-30% more.
