Placements: Placements in our college are poor. Only 1 or 2 students get placed from each branch. A few companies visit the campus for placements. The college doesn't provide any internships, but they ask you to find internships on your own. They even charge some fee to provide internship opportunities.
Placements: The placements for my branch particularly are just okay. They aren't great. The branch is absolutely new and hence there are very less number of core companies. Whereas, talking about branches like Computer Science, information Science etc., the placement rate is decent.
Placements: Placement is below average, and very few companies visit which are related to IT or tech support. When you take admission you will be told that this institute provides nice placement opportunities, but when you enter, you can't find that as such. If you go to the placement department to check about placements, they have pasted students placed in companies but in reality, those students have just cleared the first round and not exactly placed.
Placements: The placements in our college are not good. The companies visit the college to conduct campus interviews, but they select only a few students. Only the university toppers are placed. Multinational companies don't visit the college.
Placements: There are very less placements and the companies mostly are coming for technical support and only take few students. Most of the companies they will give offer letter very late and one of the worst thing is that most of the companies will take students with an aggregate of 70%.
Placements: As expected, It's a bad area regarding placement. Since our placement depends on our knowledge and technical skills, it purely depends on us. Some companies will come for hiring and select very few students for its company. But the worst thing is that, all companies that will come for hiring give us the job of attending a call. I mean to say that it's just like a call centre.
Placements: This college has good campus placements for only software stream. About 80% final year software students will be placed every year. All the reputed companies will come to campus recruitments, but hardware engineering like mechanical and civil will not have any campus placements in our college.
Placements: The placements at our college for civil are very less, and it is not worth it because companies belonging to civil do not visit the campus much. Last year, there was an approach made towards the campus selections for irrigation, and only 2 students got selected. There is a placement cell, and it is not useful.
Placements: The placement for Biotechnology department is average, but for CSE & ISE have good placement. The placements are increasing year by year, and they need to improve placements. Departments like Mechatronics, biotechnology they are the poorest. There are fewer companies related to these colleges are visiting.
Placements: The study is good, but the placement is a complicated thing, you won't get your desired placement. Most of the time, about 40% of the students get placed. The salary will be average. Wipro, Infosys, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Tata, HP, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc., are some companies that conduct placements there.
Placements: The placements are too worst when I was there and even for our seniors. I think maximum salary offered was 4.5 LPA and the minimum is 1.2 LPA. The scores are good. The Oxford College of Engineering is the best college in Bangalore, India, under the VTU Visvesvaraya Technological University recognised by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Placements: The college will be acting good when they need students, i.e. during admissions. After that, the college is very bad. It is an average college education wise but provides only a few placements. The washrooms are very bad. They were good, but they spoiled them without any maintenance.
Placements: No placements were offered for the mechanical and civil students. CS students were offered the placements. The companies visited the college only for the namesake. Around, 99% of the students didn't get the placements. Minimum 70% CGPA is required to sit in the placement and Rs. 30,000 per month was offered to the students. The facilities for the placement classes are not provided.
Placements: The placement is in a good way but they only giving more preference to IT related jobs & they also offering good salary package. Apart from that very less prefer to core companies and jobs are also very few. The student's response was also very good and effective.
Placements: I am a civil engineering student, and there were no placement offers from core companies. However, I got offers from 2-3 companies ( IT, data). Honestly, the placements are average. I would rate it 5/10. I guess the branches like CSE, ISE, ECE have reasonably good placements offers when compared with other branches.
Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering students is not a matter of pride. The placement level falls down every year, especially for the mechanical department. Even though there were a lot of companies that visited, there were no popular core companies as expected.
Placements: The placement is okay, not good as expected like other colleges are struggling for their students. The problem in placements is politics. In the college, only one main placement officer is handling the entire department. If you get selected for any company, and they are not giving you the joining letter, nobody will help you. You have to find another company. Then there is no proper advantage of placements in this college.
Placements: The college provides good placements, but the eligibility criteria will not be satisfied by the students. So better to bring companies, which fulfils the student's eligibility criteria. The core companies are more required in the college. As of I know only 15% of our seniors got placement. So the percentage of placements have to improve.
The campus is very big and recently they have constructed new buildings that have come to accommodate for recently started courses. MBA, MCA departments. The classrooms are air conditioned spacious, well-ventilated & comfortable classrooms. However there is no Wi-Fi available in the classes, which can be a disadvantage. Placements for Oxford College can said to be as average but they’re improving each year. Major companies that come here for recruitment are Accenture, Infosys, TCS, and Capgemini...
