It's a deemed-to-be university, and the college life is great, with enough students studying.
Placements: 50-60% of the students were placed. The average package is about 2-3 Lacs and the highest is 3.5-4 Lacs. IBM and TCS are the main companies. 30% were placed in IBM. Roles are computer applications, Data Science expert, etc. Top roles are engineering and BCA. Engineering is also good, powered by Kalvium.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, labs are also good, classrooms are clean and neat, and there is also a library. Hostel food is quite good, and the menu is good when compared with other hostels. Every Sunday, a doctor visits the hostel. There are many sports activities, and there are also events in the university.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay. Most of the students are industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy, not much, but not that hard also. Attendance is mandatory—75% for degree courses and 85% for engineering courses.
Other: I have chosen the course because I love machine learning and data science. Events are there, and the college life is great.

From Labs to Fests: Forensic College Life Uncovered.
Placements: The college offers solid placement support for forensic science students, with tries to forensic labs and agencies. Alumni networking events also help students connect with industry professionals. As a recent entrant in the forensic science department, the placement opportunities appear promising.
Infrastructure: Equipped with modern labs and libraries specific to forensic sciences, the college provides a conducive environment for both study and research. The campus is accessible with ramps and elevators, and inclusive policies foster a supportive environment for all students. The hostels are maintained with attention to comfort and accessibility. The hostel management is responding to feedback, and security is prioritised, creating a safe environment.
Faculty: Experienced and approachable faculty offer practical insights and regularly organize guest lectures, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications. The well-structured syllabus and balanced exam emphasize both theory and practice, ensuring comprehensive learning for forensic science students.
Other: The college is lively, with frequent festivals and programs that balance academics with social engagement—sometimes so much that the students wonder when we will have classes. Besides recreational events, the college hosts informative sessions with top forensic professionals, offering valuable real-world insights. Skill-building workshops are also regularly organized to develop practical abilities essential for forensic careers. In short, campus life combines dynamic events and focused learning, enriching student's college experiences.

Life in Yenepoya, Bangalore.
Placements: In this particular aspect, the college and the course lack opportunities. There was no job placement/recruitment that was conducted as such. But there surely is a job fair that is conducted in the months of June and July. Regarding internships, we have signed a MoU with 3 companies, namely Phoenix, Reinfosec, and Mibiz. This has helped us gain technical knowledge regarding our subject, which we are thankful for.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are great. Spacious with AC and even a library, it accommodates enough people on a day-to-day basis. There are good reference books in multiple copies kept in the library, and we even have the facility of an e-library. There is no medical room as such on campus. We have different sports equipment kept, which is used after class for practice. The labs are underequipped but sufficiently spacious. Good maintenance of the lab can go a long way toward giving students the practical knowledge that is necessary.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teaching quality was also good, with materials being provided to us on the platform. The curriculum, though outdated, was good to learn and understand. A bit of advancement in the curriculum is needed. The semester exams are not objective-based, with application-level questions encouraging us to apply our subject knowledge in writing answers.
Other: This course has always interested me due to its challenges, not only to intellect but also to ethics and morals that come forward on a day-to-day basis. It's aim to provide justice on actual data using science motivated me towards it.

YIASCM was established in...
Placements: Around 90% of our students were placed in our course. The top recruited companies are TCS, etc. Almost everyone in our course got internships in various companies. Our course offers us the opportunity to become dietitians, nutritionists, food inspectors, and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided for the students, not even for watching online classes. The facilities in the labs are technically good. The classes are wide enough, with two ACs each and smart TVs. The library provides almost every book related to each department. The hostel is hygienic, but the food is really bad at times. Hostellers are not encouraged in any sports and it is very strict.
Faculty: The faculties are really helpful in both academic and personal matters. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult and the passing percentage in our college is around 40% in each subject.
Other: The reason I chose this course is because I like the medical field but I hate maths and physics, so the only standard and good course according to my interests was this one. The best thing about our course is that we can work in both industrial and hospital sectors. They provide many extracurricular activities and events, which don't make college life boring.

Best college in terms of academic and curriculum.
Placements: 85% of students were placed in this course. About 75% of the students got internships from this course in high companies such as nutrify. Roles offered are such as dieticians, nutritionist etc.
Infrastructure: There are many types of faculties and infrastructure available in this course such as labs , classrooms, computer stalls, food nutrition stalls, outreach programs, clinical assessments etc. Since I am studying in pg I am not getting the facilities of the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely loving and charming and well educated. This course is absolutely relevant and it makes our studies go further deep roots with full knowledge and curriculum. Pass percentage is 35. It depends based on the teachers and the questions.
Other: I would like to really work in hospital field with not much headache and I am interested in learning nutrition and about my knowledge on diet and food. All types of activities are available in our course.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement issues.
Placements: In our course, no one is placed, not even our seniors. Our college is not offering any kind of packages for placements till now. There are no placement internships currently available. As there are no placements, there are no companies for our course. One of the students got an internship in Dubai, but not through the college.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure facilities in our department, Wi-Fi and other services require an extra fee. The labs are not well-equipped. The classrooms are good; they have air conditioning and smart TVs. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The library is also useful for us. The hostel is nice, and the food in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: No, the teachers here are not well-qualified; they are not from a forensic background. The teaching quality is also poor. The curriculum is not suitable when seeking an industry for students. Semester exams are not very difficult; if you study, you will get the marks. The pass percentage will be around 40%, I guess.
Other: I chose this because it's a very interesting field. The best thing about this course, I would say, is the crime scene investigation. It's very interesting because we get to learn so many things. The campus fest has many events being conducted.
