The college has impressive sports facilities and experienced faculty members.

Placements: Various off-shore companies like Torm, Chevron, Dockendale, Anglo Eastern, etc., visit our campus every year. Placement opportunities are decent for bachelor's when compared to other colleges. Most of the students opt for higher studies after completing the bachelor's course. Salary packages are quite low as all the bachelor's course packages are, so opting for higher studies is a better option.

It is the best institute to build students' future.

Placements: Around 100% of placements records for nautical science, and almost 90% of placements records for B.Tech marine engineering. The highest salary offered is Rs 80,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 45,000 per month. Top shipping companies are Maersk, Nyk, Scorpio, evergreen hosted interview rounds, and picked up the best cadets.

Review of Tolani Maritime Institute- TMI.

Placements: I would rate 5 out of 5 for placements, because the course which I have done has pre-placements opportunity which means in our course all the students are sponsored. The top recruiting companies are Torm, Home, Scorpio, BSM, Wilhemsen, and many more. This is a one-year course and all students are sponsored after one year everyone will join the ship as a deck cadet.

It is a very good college for pursuing DNS in India.

Placements: 100% placements are available as it is a pre-sponsored course. Everyone is placed before starting the course. Many top-most shipping companies give sponsorship, such as Fleet Management Limited, Scorpio, Torm, Wilhelmsen etc. Many other companies also visited here as it is in the 2021-22 batch of DNS.

It is the best campus for maritime courses.

Placements: The diploma in nautical science batch joins the institute with placements in hands. Cadets have to apply to shipping companies directly or through the institute to get placed. It is a must criterion that students need placements to join DNS courses. The major recruiting companies are Scorpio Tankers, Wilhemsen Ship Management, Terudite, Torm Shipping, Home shipping. The salary scale is only decided when students sign the contract but some companies provide it at the beginning that students can e...

I'm satisfied with college. If you're willing to put extra effort into placements you can join here.

Placements: Placements have gone down due to covid since past 2 years but now it is picking up gradually. I would not suggest taking the B.Tech Marine course. Instead, choose B.Sc. Nautical Science as it has 100% placements. There's no package as such because it is all about the hierarchy system followed in the merchant Navy. Top recruiting companies include Maersk Tankers, chevron, Torm, Thorm, NYK, K-lines, and MSI.

Absolutely dissatisfied overall.

Placements: They promise that most of the students will get placed by the 3rd year but that's not the case. Out of 240, only around 60 are placed. The on campus ship that other reviewers talk about, it is just a way of earning money. The unplaced students have to mandatory finish their Internship on the "Ship-in-Campus" to get their degrees and the college charges around Rs 2,50,000 for that. There are no "top roles" that are offered. Everyone joins as a Cadet.

Our college provided good placements from the previous few years.

Placements: Almost 90-95% of the students get placed here. You have to hustle hard physically here. We get selected as junior or trainee engineers and get more experience, and then we become chief engineers. There is also a ship model, which is very useful for students before working on the ship.

It is an amazing institute for DNS.

Placements: For a diploma in nautical science, the average starting salary package offered will be 500$ per annum. During our tenure in 2018, the highest salary package offered was 1000$ per annum. Scorpio, MSC, Wilhelmsen and Notrans were the good companies which visited here. It was a sponsored course, so there are 100% placements. Top roles offered were in-house ship management.

It has been an enriching experience for me. Teachers are incredible and very helpful here.

Placements: There is a total strength of 80 cadets in our course. At the end of the course, every cadet gets placed, and the required criterion to attend placements is you should not have any backlogs. Every student gets the good company if they study well. If you want your favourite company, you have to work hard on your own and prepare for PI rounds.

One of the best maritime institutes in the country.

Placements: When it comes to placements, I can surely say that TMI outclasses all the other maritime institutes in the country. Big companies like Maersk, Chevron, Teekay, NYK, Stena, BW Shipping, Torm come here every year. Those who don't get placed here get internship from the college itself.

Our college is very good for shipping purpose.

Placements: The institute assured 100% placements. Students got placed in every company interview. Every top company visits here for recruitment. At first, we have to work as a trainee, so the salary package offered is not the highest or the lowest. The trainee gets a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. If you are in another company than India, you can get more stipend in training. After completion of training, you get 1 lac\ or more as ETO in the company. All the big companies visit our campus like NYK, Maersk...
