Our college has amazing placements and best management and administration department.

Placements: From our batch, which has 226 students from which, around 60-70 students got placed by the end of the second year. In the third year, around 120-130 students got placed, while by the end of the 4th year of 1st semester, around 120-160 students got placed. In the last semester, at least 30-40 students will get placed. Since placements are provided in international industries, the salary package offered is the same for every student, and it depends majorly on nationality and the type of ship to wh...

I am satisfied with faculty members, good placements in 2019 and very good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students in this college scored less than 75% of marks in their academics, and some students also scored more than 90% of marks in their academics. The highest salary offered is more than 2 lacs per month, the lowest salary offered is about Rs. 8,000 per month and the average salary offered is about Rs. 32,000 per month. Students who scored more than 70% of marks in every semester got good jobs in reputed companies like IBM, AUDI, etc.

It is the best marine engineering college in India.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges for pursuing marine engineering as it provides great placements. Almost every student with CDC got placed from our batch. The salary package offered depends on the type of company which you will get after placements. For a 4th engineer, the salary package offered is 3400$. After completion of college in marine engineering, first, you will join as a cadet then you will be promoted as a 4th engineer.

The college provides a good amount of placements.

Placements: In spite of the recession, our college is managing more than 95% of placements. For engine cadet, the highest salary offered is Rs. 450 $ per month and the lowest salary offered will be Rs. 350 $ per month. Maersk Line, Chevron, Teekay, Stena, Maersk tankers and NYK are the top recruiting companies of our college. In our course, a chief is offered with a salary of around Rs. 4,500 $ per month. The chief engineer is the top role offered to the students. About 40% of the students got an internship...

Placements dropped down to a very low mark in recent years.

Placements: The percentage of students that were placed in my batch was around 80% which has been relatively reduced because of the recession in industry and college coming under the IMU from the year 2016. Companies like Maersk, NYK, Chevron do come for recruitments offering salary from 20,000 to 30,000 in starting as an internship cadet. Recruitments are done for cadet internship and depending on his/her dedication he can rise up to Chief engineer (For engineering department) and Captain (For nautical eng...

Best Merchant Navy Institute.

Placements: It was used to be 100% placement but due to recession in this field, there is no surety of being placed. But this college tries its level best to get the students placed. Many top companies come for placement drive in this reputed institution.

It is the best college for merchant navy as of now.

Placements: Placements for our batch will be conducted in next year. However, for our senior batch who are currently in the 2nd year, almost 50 students got placed out of 230 students. From the 4th year students who graduated this year, only 40 students are not placed. If you maintain a decent percentage in your academics and no disciplinary cases against you, then you are very likely to get placed. Companies like Maersk Line, Maersk Tankers, Chevron, Teekay Tankers, EPS, MOL, Stena, etc., are visited our c...

The best college in the field but on the expensive side.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Around 95% of the students were placed. But, the placements are on the declining side for our junior batches. The reason for this decline in placement is mostly because of the recession and decline of interest in recruiting Indian officers. But as compared to other institutes, the placement rate of our college is quite high. Almost all the leading companies visit our college. There isn't any placement cell, but the senior faculty members try their level best.

Review of Tolani Maritime Institute- TMI.

Placements: Placements in TMI are attractive and luring as most of the people get at least a salary package of 10 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got placed from TMI. There is a placement cell on the campus, and it is very helpful for students. Companies like Maersk, NYK, Teekay Tankers, Chellship, Feeders, Chevron, BW and K-Line, etc., visited our campus for placements.

An ideal institute if you are looking to pursue B.Sc. in nautical science.

Placements: Placements in our college are 100% for B.Sc. course unless you have a backlog. Companies that visit the campus for placements offer stipend between $350-$1000 during cadetship depending upon the company and type of ship you will be working on. Once you have a rank of an officer, the average starting salary offered is about $2500. Currently, I am studying in the second year, and more than half of my batch got placed.

Placements: The placement rate of the first IMU batch is approximately 60% as of now. Companies like Maersk, NYK, Teekay, Chevron, Stena, K-Line, MOL and Molta visited TMI to offer placements. British Petroleum has also shown interest in recruiting students from TMI. Placements in our college are good if you are ready to study.

Worth taking admission, and it is one of the best colleges for B.Tech in marine engineering.

Placements: Placements in the institute are good, and every student gets good placements in companies like Maersk, Northern Marine, Chevron, etc. Students get placed as a cadet. The placement cell is consistent in providing placements every year, and also helps us to get into our desired companies.

Really good placements and sports facilities, but things can be much improved and updated.

Placements: Placements in the institute have always been good. About 85% of students in my batch the got placed, and it was the same with my senior batch as well. The salaries offered at the time of joining as a cadet for internship varied from 300-800 dollars. Cadets get the best training. They learn how to stand out in the real world.

Placements: Placement in the college is not as good as it was before. College provide guidance for the interview skills. Still big shipping companies come for recruitment but now the companies have increased there level for the candidate appearing for there company. Till now only half of them are placed due to the crisis in the market but it will soon improve.

Great placement and good infrastructure. Satisfied.

Placements: Unparalleled placement record. Despite the fact that the maritime sector in under heavy recession, this college still gets almost 90% of its students placed. Most of which are already placed by the end of second year. Almost every year just about 10 to 12% students remain unplaced, rest all are placed. In the second year about 150 out of 240 students are already placed. No maritime college can compete with Tolani in terms of placement. Average pay for an intern is about 350 USD.

Really good college to join merchent navy, faculty is helpful, placement is also good.

Placements: Overall good placement but 100 % not guaranteed, previously it was very good but as the market is in recession so now placement is also less as compared to previous years, for now u should have good CGPA to GET good placement. CGPA should be above 7 then placement is sure. As compared to other colleges Tolani is still good in view of placement.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Due to the recession, many students are not yet placed. The students they select for placements are capable of getting placed. The students at present will be getting a mechanical engineering degree of BITS Pilani. They are trying to get all the students placed.

Placements: The placements in our college are 100% not guaranteed, but better than the rest of the colleges offering the same course. At the very peak, our college used to offer 100% placement, but after BITS Pilani affiliation was terminated, the placement record has dropped exponentially.

Placements: Placement in the college is not aa good as it was before. College provide guidance for the interview skills. The company took the cadets as a trainee then they promote as per the experience. Till now only 48% of students got placed in different companies. There was a ship in campus which provide internship for cadets.
