It is one of the oldest colleges for commerce in the city, located in the heart of Kolkata near the Calcutta University i.e. in College Street. Being a morning college it is very much suitable for all kinds of students, and when I say that it means either an aspiring CA student or those who want to gather some experience in the practical field. Placements: Placements were not provided in our college. Maximum of students got jobs themselves. Some companies like Tata and Axis Bank visited our college to offer placements. Students of our college were not interested in internships and our college didn't provide internships.

Placements: The campus recruitment is conducted every year and students are appointed for the vacant positions in many companies. Incentives offered is not justifiable according to the job they offered. One of my good friends got selected to work in Zomato company with an incentive of Rs.5 000, where he was asked to perform a laborious work for eight exhaustive hours.

Placements: Placements of my batch and seniors are average, around 30-40% of students got placed. I don't know the highest and the lowest salary offered but it's quite less. The role of junior accountants and jobs from call centres are provided to students. Non of them got an internship from college, and there is no placement cell in our college.
