Absolutely satisfied with the college. Beautiful landscape, and great infrastructure.
Placements: The companies who got into my college for the placement interviews were good. Many of them were placed, however most of them applied for jobs on their own. Not really sure of the salary offered but most of them were designed the post of junior/senior designer based on their skills. Incase of internships, everyone applied on their own, however college helped the one's who could not manage it on their own.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Air conditioned classrooms, Computer labs, workshops, Library, Medical facilities and Sports was offered in our college. Beyond this, salon and gym facilities were there for the hostelite. All of this was highly maintained. There were 2 cafes and a canteen to provide variety in terms of food, the food in the canteen was reasonably good.
Faculty: All the professors were highly qualified and knowledgeable. They had immense skills which were highly useful for us. They had adopted different ways of teaching and the curriculum was set in a perfect way covering all the design courses. Were given exposure in design industry. The curriculum was very useful.
Other: Our college organised amazing events throughout the year to encourage and attract the students. Every alternate year we had a fest to connect with the other students of the college. Our college exceeds and stands out in terms of extra curricular activities.

Good infrastructure with best facilities. No college based placement.
Placements: There are no placement in designing field. They help us to make best portfolio so that we get best internships and placements. Every students get nice placement offering above 50,000 and depends on the students work. Students generally get appointed as lead for designing projects. No college based placements are there. The stipend provided to students are mostly around 4-10,000.
Infrastructure: College has a nice building with every facilities in studios. Also they have different studio for different activities and field hostels are nice with good, understanding wards. Having two t with good quality food but little bit expensive. In hostel no electric appliances allowed. Have access andnon AC, twin and triple sharing rooms for girls in campus and for boys hostel are outside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is educated and as well as experienced. There are also guest faculty members from top most designing colleges and experienced. Teaching method is very nice, they take us to site visits, showrooms, educational designing exhibitions, lectures which helps us to take best practical knowledge. The courses provided was very useful. It helps in your internship's.
Other: It has a balance between academics, extracurricular activities. Conduct VIAJE, fest, sports matches and celebrate every festivals every year. Every year students themselves coordinated and make every event successful and enjoyable.

United world institute of design : reviews from batch 2012 to 2017.
Placements: There were no placements provided since we were the first batch. However, it was promised that the placements would be provided. Based on our internships, which was self-selected from the students, now has been displayed on the website as a part of placements provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is simple yet impressive. The students will fall in love with the place. The students must make sure to see the course structure and facilities provided than looking at the structure only. Remember not to judge the book by its cover. Also, you will have greenery which is loaded on the outskirts of the city giving a calm ambience.
Faculty: Since we were the first batch, only the first year was amazing with the faculty members. Rest three years we waited for a good one for guidance. Hence, it was struggling for us to get an internship for us and leaving the students with no placements in the end. Due to lack of faculty and structure programs, the thesis was not appropriately conducted where the students felt aloof with lack of information. Even the library had fewer books than expected. Being management, the institution could not plan and provide the service.
Other: It was promised by the institution to provide a bachelors degree. However, we are yet to receive VBA in desired discipline. Since it was something promised and something else is delivered, no student from the first batch is happy about it. It would be nothing but a fraud to pull students in. To add on to this, our course was from 2012 to 2016 where they extended it to six months extra leaving us with an awaited actual degree which shall be batch 1 ( 2012 to 2017).

College review of United world Institute of Design
Placements: I am one of the alumni of UID and a student from the first passed out batch. For us, placements were not there, Faculty members were very supportive during the internship programme. We got very good opportunities there. Now, they are providing campus placements to their students and they are developing quite well.
Infrastructure: UID has a large campus with separate studios for all departments. It has other facilities like Wi-Fi, medical facilities, a campus hostel and playgrounds. The library is also developing. The campus has other institutes like for law and medical, therefore, a multi-disciplinary interaction is also a good thing.
Faculty: Faculty members from other parts of the country are visiting and conducting lectures. It also has a good bunch of full-time faculty members where students are getting benefitted the most. The course curriculum is structured well and students are getting to learn more in their respective fields.

Amazing experience through thick and thin.
Placements: College has very less placements because generally, students prefer freelancing after graduation or do post-graduation course. No as such direct placements. We have to find internship by ourselves and we get a stipend in a satisfying amount. College plays no role in the internship period.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good. Workshops and labs are provided to students that are open 24 hours for students to work. Quality of food is also good and it is hygienic too. There is a girls hostel which is on campus and it is very convenient and safe for them. Hostel rooms are good and they provide good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful. Teaching methods are useful as we get practical knowledge also. We have sites and industry visits for better understanding. We get case studies on different topics to get field knowledge also. We got the freedom to design our space.
Other: College fest held every year which is fun. And other than that we have events going on throughout the year.

As per the syllabus of B.Des in Interior and Furniture Design of UID, There is nothing about the Mathematics. Hence there is no needs of Maths in 11th and 12th. The detailed syllabus can be checked at UID website by using the following link.

I think you have to reapply for Design Aptitude Test (DAT) if the dates are there because DAT is mandatory for B.Des admissions.
