Actual review of University of Science Osmania University.
Placements: Placement is explained in one line: if you study in a way that is not tough in class, then you get placed in good company. Despite being a reputable university, placement rates remain low. Some who do not get jobs are working with BPO after M.Sc., which is the saddest thing. Biological E, Dr. Reddy's, and many pharma companies are hiring. The package can be expected to be 4 lacs. The college is good at offering internships, mostly for research; global medical education is the top internship.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is simple but for geology, the microbiology department building is different. Still, Wi-Fi is not available for students. The college is equipped with a huge library named the University of Science Library, where you can get knowledge. Every biotechnology book is available in the library. College labs are very clean; all chemical and practical equipment is available in the labs. The hostel is very good here; it has a lift for students to use. The hostel is on 4 floors, and each room is for 3 students. Hostel admission is only for 2nd and 3rd year students. The meal provided here is the best balanced meal in protein, carbs, and fruits.
Faculty: faculty is not good in teaching but they are helpful. They have qualified Masters & Ph.D.s in biotechnology. The course of Masters is for two years biotechnology has been booming in past few years but in industry, the competition is fiercer and jobs are fewer. The syllabus is good, covering all important topics. Semester is for 100 marks, 30 marks are for internals and 70 marks are for the term-end exam.

Really good faculty are there.
Placements: We have to apply for the jobs apart from the placements. Exactly 80% of students got placements, and the highest package was 40 LPA, the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was 7 LPA. Hetero Labs, Reddy Labs, MSN Cipla, Mankind, etc. are the top recruiters. All students got internships, and based on their performance, a stipend was provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. This is the largest campus in Hyderabad. Everything that is useful to students is available on campus only. Wi-Fi is available inside the campus. Well-maintained classrooms are there. Good enough tools are there in the lab.
Faculty: All teachers are teaching well and clearing up doubts without any frustration. Teaching quality is excellent, and we get the best classes. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are typical; we have to learn everything about the subject.

This is named university, environment, hostel facilities are good.
Placements: Actually from the last 2 years no placements are happening in our department. But our University is bringing good placements to other departments. I don't understand what's wrong with my course. Before 2 years, I have seen my seniors placed from this University but now it's not like that.
Infrastructure: Facilities like labs are not good for our course, Wi-Fi is provided. The systems in our department doesn't work properly and the department is helpless regarding this. The quality of food and facilities are somewhat better than other hostels. Environment and security is also good. Overall, hostel maintenance is okay.
Faculty: Teaching was just average. This course wasn't relevant because of our department facilities and it don't make the students ready for the industry side. Coming to the pass percentage, it is good. Overall, the University is good as some other departments have good facilities.
Other: I chose this course as I can find many career options in further. Maintenance of course is not proper and helpful. I wish they provide more placements to this course as we are expecting a lot.

Our college environment is good.
Placements: Our college is excellent for placements. Almost 95 percent of students were placed in our college. The highest package in our college is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, and some other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is excellent and there are excellent facilities. Facilities for our department include very good classrooms, the best laboratories, and the best libraries. There is a college hostel facility. Quality of food in the hostel is very good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very talented and they are well-trained faculty. They all are very friendly with us and their quality of teaching was clearly understandable to all. Semester exams are somewhat difficult and moderate. Course curriculum was updated daily.

Great university, if you want to do M.Sc.

Top recruiters include Lupin, GVK, etc. Around 40% of internships are offered at companies like Aurobindo Pharma and Biocon. The roles offered in this course are research associate, analytical chemist, and quality control analyst.
Infrastructure: Osmania University provides good infrastructure for M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, including well-equipped labs, libraries, and classrooms. Hostel facilities are decent; the food quality in the mess and canteen is average. Medical facilities and sports amenities are available.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and qualified, and they were fairly helpful. The teaching quality was very good and understandable. The curriculum is relevant but needs an industry-oriented update. Exams are moderately challenging; pass percentages are average and at around 70 to 80 percent.
