Dual specialization in a department which is in India's the best universities.

Placements: The department of UIAMS, PU is an above average labelled institution where the packages vary from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA. The average package is about 5 LPA. Almost all companies of the various current domains visit the campus every year and provide with specialised positions as per the student division.

A good B-School which can be improved a little more.

Placements: Overall, the placements were pretty average. Packages offered were quite good though the number of students placed were very less. Most of the students got placed in marketing and sales field and the average package offered was 4 lacs. Major recruiters were HDFC Bank, HDFC Limited, Naukri, S&P, Axis, etc.

Excellent faculty and good placements

Placements: Placements are good. Each year, around 100-120 students get placed. The average package which companies provide is around 3 lakhs. Also, guidance is provided to students from the placement officer. Last year too, most students got placed at an average package of 4-5 lakhs. Lowest salary offered was 2.5 lakhs (CTC). Among the companies who visit maximum are looking out for marketing specialisations.

The faculty is good and the college has a well established infrastructure in the department.

Placements: About 60/100 students got placed in the college, i.e., 60% of the students got placed. The minimum package offered Rs.3.5 lakhs while the maximum package is Rs. 6.5 lakhs. The companies like the HDFC, Airtel, Axis Bank, etc., have visited the campus for the placement offering the roles of an HR executive, salesperson, etc. 50% of the placements was via campus placement, but I am not aware of the stipend.

It is a good experience to study in this college.

Placements: The college has 60% placements rate. We've had financial servicing companies like Mahindra Finance, HDFC Ltd visiting the college for placements in the past years. Most of the campus placements are related to HR and Marketing. Last year, the highest package offered was 7 LPA for Az associates.

Good college but average placements.

Placements: Placements are not good at UIAMS. Most of the companies recruit the students for marketing. The highest package offered was 7 LPA for marketing students. Apart from that, many companies hold placement in various stages. The college has a placement cell where all the coordination and management happens. Every year the college conducts placement event in which many top companies participate. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Naukri.com, HDFC Ltd. Zaro Education, Axis Bank and much more visit the ca...

It is a good college to study in.

Placements: The placement facility of the freshers is currently low as not many companies are trying to recruit them. The process is going to start this year. But, for the postgraduate student's placement opportunities are there, as companies regularly visit to recruit them. The package offered here is average.

Satisfying exposure and desirable placements.

Placements: The placements have been up to expectation (in terms of companies visiting and the designation offered). Both for the present and the last batches. Some 40% of the students have been placed by the 3rd semester, and the minimum salary package is 2.5 lakh/annum, and the maximum is 6 lakhs per annum, which has been offered till now. The companies that have visited are the HDFC, Axis bank etc. The roles which are offered by companies are marketing analyst, HR, etc., have been offered.

Satisfied, but hoping for improvements in the future.

Placements: The placements are fine but could be better, the highest package last year was not up to the mark. The average package was around 4 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of the students got their internship from the department, and others had to arrange it for themselves.

Not worth for the money spent on this college.

Placements: The placement situation isn't a rosy picture. The average package from the college is about 4.5 lacs per annum. Last year, about 50 percent of the batch was placed. The roles offered were mostly those of sales and operations. Very few companies visit the college for HR and leaving the HR students disheartened.

Good infrastructure but the college needs to improve its placements.

Placements: The college has average placement opportunities with most of the companies visiting the campus only for marketing profile. Hence, it is very tough for the finance, HR, and operations students to get a good job opportunity. The average package offered to the students is around 3-4 LPA. The companies visiting for recruitment are Mahindra Finance, Airtel, Best Sellers, Kapsons, etc. The internships are also average in which almost 60-65% of students of our batch got an internship through the colleg...

The placements need to be improved.

Placements: The placements of the college are average. Most of the companies visit the campus only for marketing profile so placements for finance, HR, and operations are minimal. The internships are pretty good where Airtel, Decathalon, HDFC Bank, Tripadvisor, etc. visit the campus to hire interns. The placement cell is not very active and it can be improved more.

Satisfied with other things but the placements need to improve.

Placements: The placements in this college were not bad, though they surely could do better with it and bring in more companies for the students to apply to. The students were offered the roles of assistant managers and sales managers among others. Only, a few internships offered on campus were worthy.

Overall, good college and placements.

Placements: The placements are very good in this college. Around 60-70% seniors were placed in the last year. Top companies visited the campus like HDFC, Infotech, Aim India, Jati Education, Max Healthcare, Zycus Axis Bank, and many more. This year too, the students have started getting placed with the package of 4-5 lakhs per annum. Roles or job profile that the companies were looking were mostly for marketing, then operations and finance. The internship is 100% in the college.

Department is good, located in a very good area, but needs improvement in placements.

Placements: Placements are average. Average package is around 4 lakh. If we consider sectors then placements are very good for banking and insurance followed by retail management. Pharmaceutical students had very good placements in 2015-17 batch. IT and Infra Sector had average placements.

Satisfied with the faculty, the placements, good infrastructure and other facilities of the college.

Placements: The placements in the college are not that satisfactory. Mostly, the marketing jobs are offered by the companies, who visits our college. The retail industries rarely visit our campus. Moreover, the companies looking for the specialisation in human resource is very rare to be seen in UIAMS.

Placements: UIAMS is determined and is working passionately towards helping out the young and vivacious students by guiding and helping them out through every process of every company's recruitment process. The college is always linked with the central placement cell of Panjab University and provides a good platform to showcase your talent. UIAMS, the gem of the Punjab University.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. Here, the companies like HDFC Ltd., Axis Bank, Jaro educations etc. have recently come for campus placements. A dedicated PR cell is established in the department and also being a part of the Punjab University; the students have the opportunity to sit for companies that come for placements.
