Satisfied, but hoping for improvements in the future.

Placements: The placements are fine but could be better, the highest package last year was not up to the mark. The average package was around 4 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of the students got their internship from the department, and others had to arrange it for themselves.

Not worth for the money spent on this college.

Placements: The placement situation isn't a rosy picture. The average package from the college is about 4.5 lacs per annum. Last year, about 50 percent of the batch was placed. The roles offered were mostly those of sales and operations. Very few companies visit the college for HR and leaving the HR students disheartened.

Good infrastructure but the college needs to improve its placements.

Placements: The college has average placement opportunities with most of the companies visiting the campus only for marketing profile. Hence, it is very tough for the finance, HR, and operations students to get a good job opportunity. The average package offered to the students is around 3-4 LPA. The companies visiting for recruitment are Mahindra Finance, Airtel, Best Sellers, Kapsons, etc. The internships are also average in which almost 60-65% of students of our batch got an internship through the colleg...

The placements need to be improved.

Placements: The placements of the college are average. Most of the companies visit the campus only for marketing profile so placements for finance, HR, and operations are minimal. The internships are pretty good where Airtel, Decathalon, HDFC Bank, Tripadvisor, etc. visit the campus to hire interns. The placement cell is not very active and it can be improved more.

Satisfied with other things but the placements need to improve.

Placements: The placements in this college were not bad, though they surely could do better with it and bring in more companies for the students to apply to. The students were offered the roles of assistant managers and sales managers among others. Only, a few internships offered on campus were worthy.

Overall, good college and placements.

Placements: The placements are very good in this college. Around 60-70% seniors were placed in the last year. Top companies visited the campus like HDFC, Infotech, Aim India, Jati Education, Max Healthcare, Zycus Axis Bank, and many more. This year too, the students have started getting placed with the package of 4-5 lakhs per annum. Roles or job profile that the companies were looking were mostly for marketing, then operations and finance. The internship is 100% in the college.

Department is good, located in a very good area, but needs improvement in placements.

Placements: Placements are average. Average package is around 4 lakh. If we consider sectors then placements are very good for banking and insurance followed by retail management. Pharmaceutical students had very good placements in 2015-17 batch. IT and Infra Sector had average placements.

Satisfied with the faculty, the placements, good infrastructure and other facilities of the college.

Placements: The placements in the college are not that satisfactory. Mostly, the marketing jobs are offered by the companies, who visits our college. The retail industries rarely visit our campus. Moreover, the companies looking for the specialisation in human resource is very rare to be seen in UIAMS.

Overall, a good platform with excellent faculty but still needs some improvements in placements

Placements: UIAMS is determined and is working passionately towards helping out the young and vivacious students by guiding and helping them out through every process of every company's recruitment process. The college is always linked with the central placement cell of Panjab University and provides a good platform to showcase your talent. AVSAR, a placement drive event was conducted which provides students with good jobs and maximum package grabbed by students was 12 lakhs PA, though the PR cell needs som...

UIAMS, the gem of the Punjab University.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. Here, the companies like HDFC Ltd., Axis Bank, Jaro educations etc. have recently come for campus placements. A dedicated PR cell is established in the department and also being a part of the Punjab University; the students have the opportunity to sit for companies that come for placements.

A really good place to study and excel.

Placements: There were 90% placements in the college. Meritorious students were placed. Salary packages were good, ranging from Rs. 20000 per month to Rs. 50000 per month. Companies like Practo and Eye-Q visited the campus. Every student was placed in their respective field in a satisfactory manner. Many more IT companies visited the campus and their placements were 100%. Every student was groomed to an extent to find placement on their own too.

UIAMS pharma pass out review.

Placements: The placement scenario is getting good with every year but only 50 percent students go for a job. Most of the Chandigarh elites who study in this department go for their running business. Pharmaceutical management is one of the odd courses which is introduced by very few colleges in India which makes it different from others.

The infrastructure of department and the faculty members are very good. Campus is attractive. Study taught is related to the course and crowd is nice. Class rooms are very good. Placements are just average. Many companies come for placements like HDFC, Mahindra finance, Videocon etc.

UIAMS has a well of infrastructure which has become a platform for many students so that they can grow themselves in one way or the other. On the other hand, practical knowledge is thoroughly stressed upon and live projects are given on daily basis. Even UIAMS has thumbs up on cultural activities too so that management skills could be planned by the student in different activities of fest. Placements are decent. Average package is around 4 - 5 lakhs.

The college infrastructure is good. There is a canteen, library and computer lab in the college. There is access to campus Wi-Fi facility as well. The faculty is experienced and supportive. There are various functional clubs in the college like management cell, entrepreneurship cell etc. which one can join. The placements are average and thus the ROI is not very good. The college is in the university campus itself so there is access to all the campus facilities. There are a number of opportunit...

UIAMS is one of the best institutes for MBAs in the Panjab University. The faculty is great. Events such as Ignisense are filled with fun and learning experiences. The international business stream is the best course in the college. Other than this, the college also offers niche courses such as environment and agriculture business. The placements are great, the college provides plenty of opportunities with the big industry players along with a few startups. The course is expensive.

The campus is neat and clean with an excellent faculty. It is in a peaceful location of sector 25 Chandigarh. Just opposite to the main university campus. The only missing thing is the sports activities in the campus. And as being a self-financed institution. The fee is a bit high. Overall, a great college as it offers courses in specific fields.

Excellent faculty for HR and Marketing It’s completely student driven department (which has its own pros and cons) If the student really wants to do something, they have good opportunities. The retail and banking courses have the maximum placements. But decent packages are there for pharmaceutical and hospitality as well.

It is one of a kind in India. UIAMS is a college with core sectors and specializations like retail, banking,IT etc. It has various clubs that give proper exposure to the students. One demerit about the college is poor infrastructure and high fees as compared to the kind of placements they offer.
