Amazing infrastructure and decent quality of education but needs improvement.

Placements: More than 60 percent of students got placed in my course. The average package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Update Services, GMR, Spicejet, etc. More than 80 percent students got internship at Airports Authority of India, GMR, Spicejet, etc. Roles offered in my course are Operations Executive, Ground Staff, Customer Service Associate, etc.

Show of incompetence, poor work ethics and madness.

Placements: The process has not begun thus far. It would not be right to comment yet. However, the Career Counselling Department is active enough. The Man in charge of career counselling is approachable and good nature. Moreover, the specialisation professor gives real time advice.

Best college in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Placements: 75% of students are placed every year. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top roles were in corporate teams and dispute resolution. Firms such as HSA Advocates, Agama Law, Panag and Babu, and LKS come for recruitment. Around 80% of students get internships from the Career Services Department.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and campus area.

Placements: Yes, there are a considerable number of students being placed at the university. However, the packages the students receive are not what they expect at the time of joining the law school. Recruiters like JSA, LKS, and Khaitan, etc., conduct interviews from the 9th semester onward.

Less opportunities are provided.

Placements: I am a first-year student, so the internship opportunities in college are limited, as I am also in love with my seniors so they told me that the placement this year is not going up to mark. The company is coming but is not recruiting the students. The big companies are coming to our campus but many students are taking admission this year so recruiting opportunities are less.

Overall is good, and the placement is good.

Placements: Placement is good about 95% of students get placed every year. Wipro, Nykaa, etc. companies are coming. The internship from my course is not good. If you find an internship on your own then it is good. But if you think that college will get you an internship then forget that thing.

Dissatisfied with placements, but the infrastructure and faculty are good.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. The average package is 3-4 LPA. Many fraud companies have also offered joining letters to students, which ended up by taking security amounts from students and not handing joining letters. The placement cell is ignorant about the fact and not helping students.

Capitalist, inefficient and poor education.

Placements: About placements, on paper, it is claimed that 94% of placements were given but I don't think it's true. The highest and the lowest packages were 12 lacs per annum and 4 lacs per annum. Luthras, Khetans are the top companies that visited. Most students got internship under relative lawyers. Top roles could be lawyer, judge, magistrate.

It is a highly recommended college for students' good life.

Placements: Placements are average from this school of law UPES. The average salary package offered is mainly 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS and Infosys. Internships are good, and a very good number of students get an internship from here. Roles offered are mentor, moot analyst, legal advisory, heads, etc.

Nothing contrary I would like to state but if judiciary classes are conducted then it will be good.

Placements: 1. approximately. 60% of students get placed last year. 2. Average salary was around 5 lacs p. a. 3. Luthra and Luthra law firm, Amarchand and Mangaldas, Surana and Surana and many more visit the campus for recruitment. 4. Legal adviser and corporate lawyers are the job roles. I haven't consulted my college's internship cell. So, I don't have any knowledge regarding this.

A good college for hardworking students.

Placements: The college provides ample opportunities to law students. It totally depends on an individual to get placed. The average package offered is around 4 lacs per annum, which is good for a fresher. Law is a field where one requires experience, so the more experience you get, the more heights you'll reach.

An average college because it is not worth the money in terms of return on investment.

Placements: I personally feel that the placements are not worth the money because you invest 13-15 lacs but the average package offered is only 4 LPA. Only those students get good packages who are on good terms with the professors, and the good packages are about 7-8 LPA. It is the same thing with the SIP also.

A business oriented university with average academics and beautiful buildings.

Placements: Our branch students generally do not get placed in the oil and gas sector. My batchmates were forced to attend the interview for fashion consultant job profile. I was not allowed to opt in for placements as I was absent for a day when the placements coordinator was making the list.

Satisfactory college in terms of placement, amazing environment to study and explore.

Placements: UPES offers around 90% placement in its computer Science courses. Placement team is quite satisfactory as they focus on each and every student. My senior batch had 5 out of 7 students placed and the remaining two chooses for further studies. One of my seniors was selected as the legal executive in lean apps company in Pune.

You can enjoy your graduation.

Placements: Placements are not that much good, and it is not worthy. If it comes to ROI in a BBA, then all the streams of BBA are having the same course structure and only changes the pattern in semester wise of either stream. There is no practical learning, and the worst internships are very expensive.

The colege has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. The average student gets the package of 2-2.5 lacs per annum package, but if students have good records in all the subjects, then many companies hire them with a very good package. There are many good students, who did not get placed from the college.

Dehradun is a beautiful place, and the college is okay.

Placements: On an average, the placements for seniors were fine. Some did really well, and some didn't. That's the situation for other law batches of BA LLB and BBA LLB. Next year will be our first passing out batch. In total, the placements are not satisfactory here.

Good infrastructure but the fee is high.

Placements: The placements in the college are decent as no big recruiters come for placements, while the average packages offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Assessment internship based placements are given to students. Thomson Reuters, Manikaran Future Group, are few among the recruiters that come to the college, and there is a placement cell. As it is a growing college, will still need some time to become a well-known college.

School of law-UPES, a last resort for students who don't manage to crack CLAT.

Placements: Placements in 2016 were alright. Last year it was 2017 which were not good at all as the placement in-charge left just before the placements were about to start. This year also, it hasn't been so fruitful, but as we all know the corporate sector is currently down so it may go up by the next year or so. The highest package might have gone up to Rs. 15 to 17 Lakhs, but it was for just one person. The average must have remained in the category of Rs. 4-5 Lakhs which nobody would take.
