Review of V.V. College of Science and Technology.
Placements: Around 75% of students of our college get placed. The salary offered was Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month. Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, TCS, Deloitte, KPMG, and many top companies recruited students. Around 50% of students got internships at Wipro and Infosys. Project executive and associate roles were offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi, excellent labs, and digitalised classrooms. We have well organised library which is accessible to students. The food served in the canteen is good but the price is a little high.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and had a lot of experience. They make their notes for students to understand easily. Exams are a bit tough as this college is under the University of Calicut. This course curriculum makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as I am very much interested in business and my friends and family members recommended me to join this course. I wish to improve the time of projects and assignments provided by the university as students never get enough time to complete the work. All events are organised every month.

Quality infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Hi, I am 2018-2021 B.Com CA batch student. I have joined my college with a lot of expectations. And my past three years in the college are the best of all time. After course completion almost 70% got placed and some of them works as an intern in top companies. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are some of the companies we got placed into.
Infrastructure: VV college is one of the best in Palakkad district known for its amazing infrastructure and facilities. Labs, libraries and classrooms were of above standards. And also college hostel and the food provided at mess was really good. Many sports and games are part of hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers and college staffs are well educated and qualified professionals. And they are also friendly with students. It is very easy to study under their guidance. And it definitely makes a student perfect during the course. Semester exams are conducted during college time and pass percentage is above 90 percentage.
Other: I actually loved my course. Becoming a B.Com graduate is my dream. And my college really helped me get it. Sports and events conducted were amazing. It brings people together. My campus and the area around it were lovely. A lot of extracurricular activities are part of life in college. I am lucky to experience some wonderful moments in my college.

Join the college just to waste 3 years.
Placements: According to my knowledge, a few of the students are placed. Mostly, they are placed at service-based companies. The highest salary might be around 4-5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 2-3 LPA. When looking into internships, the college gets a tie-up with companies in Kerala and they provide an internship in the college itself.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a rural area. Thus, there are certain limitations to the infrastructure. Also, the college is managed by a trust. Of course, there are well-equipped labs, libraries, and classrooms. There are no hostel facilities in the college. The only facilities for sports are basketball and volleyball. The football and cricket grounds are under maintenance.
Faculty: The teachers are much more helpful than expected. Some of the teachers are not that good at teaching. The college follows the curriculum of the University of Calicut, which is not something that makes you industry-ready this year. Exams are conducted according to the University of Calicut. The average pass percentage is nearly 75%.

V.V College of Science and Technology is one of the best colleges with a friendly environment.
Placements: Our college provides placements in different MNCs and IT firms. Almost 70% of students were placed in my course. Companies like Infosys and Wipro are the top recruiting companies for my course. 45% of students got internships from my course in companies like Wipro.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are below average because the systems and equipment needed for practicals are old. There's no hostel in our college. The quality of food available in the canteen is somewhat okay. They could really improve the PCs and provide updated systems.
Faculty: The teachers are super helpful and awesome. The teaching quality is excellent. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are always there for students in academic needs. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for life not only as an employee but also as an employer.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the college experience.
Placements: There is no placement in my course, and no one has been placed because no company is connected to the college. After one year, internship information is informed by the college. It is a production company with a one-year contracted internship. As for job roles, there are no placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good; most classrooms are not up to par. There are no escalator facilities, and there is a long distance between classrooms and toilets. Hostel facilities are absent. There is a canteen, but it does not offer a variety of food. The classrooms lack Wi-Fi facilities, and the library also faces this issue.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, but they focus more on bookish learning, and practical learning isn't possible. They emphasize how much time is spent studying rather than how much is learned. Since it is an affiliated college, the semester exam question paper is from the university.
