My journey at Vaagdevi College of Engineering.

Placements: In our course, around 30-40% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Genpact and Accenture. Almost 60% of students secured internships. Top roles offered to students are mainly in Java and software development.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course includes well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a campus with Wi-Fi, and a library. The hostel provides decent food quality in the mess. Sports and games facilities are provided for hostel students. There is a gym room. There are two canteens with decent food services.

Faculty: The faculty is qualified and helpful. The teaching quality could be more interactive and practical. The course curriculum is relevant but could be updated to better align with industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in AI/ML. The best aspects include industry-relevant curriculum and practical exposure. Improvements could be made in updated course content and more campus placement opportunities. Events, fests, and active extracurricular activities enrich campus life.

A basic review of my college.

Placements: Almost 50% of students get placements in our college, and we are also waiting eagerly to get placed in an esteemed company. The package is a minimum of 3.5 LPA and a maximum of 5 LPA. Companies like Tesla, Wipro, and many other companies are acquiring us.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-furnished, and we have digital boards in all of our classes. We have good books in our library, and there is a digital library on our campus. The facilities in the hostel are also good, and the mess is also very good in our hostel campus.

Faculty: We have experienced and excellent faculty in our college. They teach us everything that is useful to us, and they teach us the subject while providing practical knowledge, which will be helpful a lot to us. The curriculum is well-planned, and we go through our syllabus.

Other: I have chosen this course based on my interest, and I have the best faculty to gain knowledge in my studies. I wish to improve and get more placements. We have several events conducted in our college, including Vaagtara, Spyro 2.0, Spyro 3.0, Aiverse, and many more technical and non-technical events.

Placements: The college is having placements into companies like Zithara, Soti, Accenture, and others with an average package of 4 LPA. The students will be having internships from the final year along with mini and major projects. The college is providing average placements from last year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, providing a digital library for completing projects and free wi-fi to all the students and faculty. Digital classrooms are available where faculty explain through projectors. Sports are also there. The canteen is there separately for faculty and students.

Faculty: The faculty is average at teaching, and they mostly tick to the books. The students will have industrial visits in the final year to have real-time knowledge. The semesters are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is about 60%. The management should take care of placements and teaching faculty.

Review of Vaagdevi College of Engineering.

Placements: The top roles offered from the branch of computer science and engineering (data science) are data scientist, data analyst, data architect, and many more. The recruiting companies for CSE (data science) students are Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, and many more companies that visit our college regularly. Till 56% of the students had internship opportunities in reputed companies like TCS, Google, Infosys, Microsoft, and many more. The highest package offered was 26 lacs per annum, and the lowest offered was 2.8 lacs per annum. Till 67% of the students placed in top companies, which I have mentioned above.

Infrastructure: The college has a big ground. The college has excellent classrooms with nice benches and projectors in each classroom, with Wi-Fi availability there for all the students and staff. The college has huge laboratories with lots of computer systems for exercising the programs, codlings, and practicing and all. The college has a hostel facility for both boys and girls with quality and hygienic food. The college provides games and sports daily in the evening, and one yoga class is also there to free the mind. Our college has an ambulance facility there for any emergencies and a medical facility also there.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful in all in teaching and giving their knowledge to us. Some faculty members have doctorates from reputed universities, and some faculty members are not, but they are doing so now. The faculty are very knowledgeable and well qualified by their knowledge, and they prepare all the students for the industry. They explained a lot of things to develop our skills and to get placements in top companies. Till getting placements, they are conducting campus recruitment training in college with well-qualified faculty. The pass percentage in our college is about 88%. The semester exams are going very easy by my faculty members knowledge.

Placements: The placements are really good in our Vaagdevi College, and this year companies like Soti, Sutherland, Hiremi, and so on have recruited students. The average package is about 5 LPA. We will also have internships and projects from the 3rd year to gain practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: We have a digital library. We also have the availability of sports once every month. The quality of food is hygienic and healthy. We also have digitalized classrooms. The overall infrastructure is good, and free Wi-Fi is available. The mess and canteen are also available separately for faculty and students.

Faculty: The faculty hold good skills that are really helpful to us. The semesters are not much tough, and the pass percentage from our branch is about 60%. We also have industry visits to gain practical knowledge and experience. The courses are related to real-world applications.

Review of Vaagdevi college of engineering.

Placements: In this college, placements are too low, and one shouldn't expect a high package job from this institution. Most of the companies provide packages around 6 LPA. Final year students usually go out after their passout for job coaching centers, where they may get a job. Not only in this college, but this is the same situation in every college.

Infrastructure: In Vaagdevi College of Engineering, we have minimal infrastructure, and the labs are not bad; they're okay. Every student will get a system in the lab. Most of the colleges do not have proper facilities in their labs, but in this college, we have good infrastructure. When it comes to the hostel, only the girls' hostel is available.

Faculty: When it comes to faculty, not bad; the faculty is okay. Our college provides a proper timetable for the whole semester, and we follow this curriculum. We used to see in our syllabus copy to know about our syllabus. There will be 2 mid-exams in a semester, and mostly they take the average of the two midterms.
