Lovely Faculty and Exciting Challenging Course.
Placements: In the dental field, there aren't really many placements. Corporate dentistry is something to be approached on your own, whereas clinic dentistry can be performed by visiting clinics owned by others or opening up your own. You can always approach the house faculty to ask about visiting their clinics for the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, although not quite high-end. The lecture halls are fully air-conditioned, giving it a really modern feel. The laboratories have everything that you need to learn. The food in the mess is truly scrumptious, however, the college lacks a proper cafeteria. There are facilities for sports and games, but they can be improved.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are obviously the best parts of this college. You get to learn with faculty that excel in their field and are more than qualified to teach. The exams are challenging and truly make us dentists who we are. The curriculum is difficult but not completely unachievable.
Other: The course is challenging, and only students really willing to take the effort should join it. Extracurricular activities are definitely supported here with a lot of events going on throughout the year. The campus is small due to only one course being taught in the college. Scholarships are available for reserved, minority, and Gujarat State students.

It is an average college with great faculty.
Placements: There are no placements because most of the students choose to open their own clinics after BDS or try to start working at some clinics to get better hands-on experience. Others go ahead and prepare for post-graduation. A handful of students join the college as staff members.
Infrastructure: The lecture halls, labs and OPD are pretty up and running. It's not shiny and new, but it does the job. You get to learn on slides, do biochemistry practicals, work on patients, observe professors doing procedures, everything. The washrooms need major renovation, though. The hostel is pretty close to the college, and it has basic amenities like Wi-Fi, TV, attached bathrooms, games, AC if you're interested, and housekeeping. It lacks laundry, though, but it's doable.
Faculty: The best part of the college has to be the faculty. The professors are the best in their fields and work very hard to help us become good at ours. It's affiliated with Gujarat University, and while the university could use some corrections, the college is doing pretty great. The curriculum, patient quota, exams, all of these help us get ready to be able to go ahead and open up our own clinics and work on patients independently.
Other: I chose this course because I feel like dentistry is underrated. I feel the college helps you explore all parts of this field and helps you decide where you're the best while giving you an opportunity to improve at what you lack. The patient flow can be improved, but that isn't really in the hands of the management. The college isn't very big. I make very personal relationships with people, so it feels easier at a college that has a small set of people. There are 5 batches and around 70 people per batch. Campus life is not so good. You get to experience a few events per year, and even they aren't as good as the college fests in huge colleges, so if you're going to look for good college life, this isn't the place. There are no extracurricular activities either, but when you're in this field, I'm not sure you have enough time to participate in any. Scholarships are available for reservation category students from Gujarat state itself.
