Q:   What is the application fee for the MD programme at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital?

A:

The MC programme given at VMMC & SJ Hospital, includes several specializations, like Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pediatric, and many others. For the applicants to the MD program, some must have done a 1 year generalized internship and those with an MBBS degree from a university recognised by the MCI (Medical Council of India) are also eligible.

The chief criterion for the selection to the MD programme is taken as the ranking in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG), which is administered by the National Board of Examination (NBE). This is important as it enables meritocracy, where the selected individual has shown evidence of the knowledge and competence that he or she possess based on their performance in the NEET-PG.

There's no specific application fee details explicitly mentioned on internet so I recommend you to contact the administration directly.

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College accepts NEET UG score for the admission to MBBS courses. For getting admission at VMMC, there are no specific percentiles needed in 10th and 12th exams by the candidates. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English shall be eligible for appearing in NEET-UG to get into VMMC. NEET 2024 will now be open to candidates who passed their Class 12 Board exam from Open Schools. Students from open schools approved by the State Boards and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can now sit the NEET exam, according to a ruling by the Indian Supreme Court.
