A:

UCMS Delhi accepts NEET score for admission to its flagship courses. NEET cutoff for 2024 hasn't been released yet. However, candidates can refer to NEET cutoff for the previous years.

NEET cutoff for 2023 was 600.  The minimum qualifying mark for General category students in the NEET 2022 exam was 500, and the last rank for getting into UCMS Delhi was 30,000. This suggests that you would need to score in the top 30,000 to get into UCMS Delhi with 655 marks.

However, it's important to remember that the NEET cut-offs vary every year depending on a number of factors, such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students who take the exam, and the number of seats available. This means that it's not possible to say for certain whether or not you will get into UCMS Delhi with 655 marks.

Q:   Is UCMS good for MBBS?

A:
{Source: MBBS students & alumni}

Here's a summary of what current and former students have to say:

Placement and Internships: 100% of passing students get a paid internship at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital with a stipend of INR26,000-INR30,000 per month. After completing MBBS, students can pursue a junior residency in government or private hospitals with a salary range of INR80,000-INR90,000 per month.

Faculty and Teaching Quality: Many students praise the faculty members' knowledge and willingness to help. While some find certain lecturers less engaging, overall, the teaching quality is considered good.

Infrastructure and Campus Life: The campus is well-maintained, with air-conditioned lecture theaters, modern laboratories, and a library. Hostel facilities are available, although some students mention issues with cleanliness and food quality.

Academic Rigor: Students agree that the academic pressure is moderate to high, with frequent exams and assessments. However, those who put in effort report success.

Curriculum Relevance: Many students appreciate the relevance of the course material, particularly the focus on practical learning.

Career Prospects: Graduates generally fare well in securing positions in government or private hospitals, and some even choose to pursue further education or specialize in their chosen fields.

While UCMS may not be perfect, students seem to appreciate the institution's strengths in providing opportunities for hands-on learning, exposing them to real-world scenarios, and preparing them for successful careers in the medical field.

Remember, this assessment is based on students' subjective experiences and opinions. If you're considering UCMS for your MBBS journey, weigh these factors carefully against your personal goals and priorities.
