MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2022

Satisfied with this college, very good college.
Placements: College has good placement facilities, with more than 80% of students being placed. The highest packages are 13 to 20 lacs per annum. The lowest packages are 3 to 7 lacs per annum. Many recruiting companies such as Infosys, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Delight offer higher packages, and some students got internships with stipends.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good in our college. The course is relevant to logistics, and facilities like Wi-Fi with a high range of 7 to 10 kb per second .The college hostel also has a good quantity of food. Sports are conducted in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in teaching. Teachers are qualified with higher education. They are well-qualified, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Students at our college are made ready. Semester exams are hard to pass. The pass percentage in our course is 68%.

Master of Business Administration - Batch of 2024

Overall, The best College for MBA Course.
Placements: About 90% of students were placed in my course. The maximum package offered was 10 LPA, and the minimum package offered was 5 LPA. The top hiring companies were Wipro, TCS, and Accenture. I would say only 50% got their internship at some small, newly set-up company that didn't have much reputation. The proposed posts were data analyst, manager, and management trainee.
Infrastructure: Lodging is exceptionally great. foundation is conventional. There are partitioned inns for boys and young ladies. The lodging has Wi-Fi, beds, closets, etc. The nourishment served in the inn is normal. The classrooms are well kept up. Libraries are awesome. Check-out from the lodging is at a certain time each day.
Faculty: The teachers were really helpful, competent, and knowledgeable. The quality of their education is good. The syllabus of the course is quite relevant but contains outdated topics and makes the students crafty, not perfect. Semester exams are of medium difficulty. The pass rate is 70%. .

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Evening - Batch of 2024

A college that boasts name and fame but is no bite.
Placements: About 70% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2-2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCL, and Accenture. I would say only about 50% got their internships in some small newly set up companies that didn't have a lot of reputation. The positions offered were Business Associate, Assistant Store Manager, Management Trainee.
Infrastructure: There aren't a lot of facilities for the commerce department, which is quite frustrating. The classrooms are small for a class of 60 students, the building is too old; a renovation would do. The hostelers are provided with A/C, beds, washrooms, and the mess's food is okayish but not good. The canteen is a bit on the expensive side. There's only one clinic, common for both the school and collegiate students. There is no club for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but aren't knowledgeable; the teaching quality is average, with teachers using the local language. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant, but it doesn't make the students industry-ready practically (only theoretical knowledge). The semester exams are pretty easy to crack, and the passing percentage is, I would say, about 75%.
Other: I felt this course was more competitive compared to Science and Arts courses. The best thing is it helps grasp how the economy works in a country. There is a scholarship examination for students seeking it before joining. The college hosts a ton of events throughout the 3 years of this course, and the crowd and connectivity are average, to say the least.

MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2022
4.6

Review of MBA VELS University.
Placements: Synergy Marine Group, Ebay, Ali Group India, Amazon, Flipkart, Big basket and many more recruited from our college. The average package that we received in our programme is around 5 lacs per year. In 2022, over 950 students out of 1200 will be placed on campus. This is a huge achievement. The placement cell worked very hard to achieve it. The only bad thing is that colleges do not offer any internships. The profile of the role is executive procurement.
Infrastructure: My institute has a striking feature: it is planned and comprehensive. The infrastructure provided to us includes specific lecture halls, well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories, an air-conditioned computer training centre, a modern conference hall, a well-equipped digital library, an AC auditorium and indoor and outdoor sports facilities. We have one large library with a seating capacity of 500. There is a hostel on the college side. It was decent, but the food was prepared according to food standards, including a high protein meal.
Faculty: Our teachers are high professionals in teaching. The course syllabus trained and improved our analytical skills, conceptual skills, human skills, leadership qualities, and communication skills. Also, they trained us for interviews, seminars and workshops. Exams are not difficult; they are easy, and passing is really easy. Important questions were repeated many times in the exam.

MBA in Shipping and Logistics Management - Batch of 2025

MBA Review at VELS College.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students are in college. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. DHL, TCS, and ZOHO are the recruiting companies. All the students got internships with the help and guidance of faculty. The CII faculty provided help and support, playing a main part in the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the Wi-Fi and library are decent. The colleagues say the hostel is not good. It is okay, but not perfect. Most of the students are coming from nearby PG rooms. In the hostel, they have a gym and many facilities for the students.
Faculty: Faculty are the backbone of this course. The teaching is good and perfect; all faculty are Ph.D. holders. The exams and curriculum are perfect. They are updated year by year. The semester exams, if you study, are easy; most students pass.
Other: Friends and lectures tell me this course provides industry knowledge. They have a lot of events, but the most special one is Nakshatra.

Not that great but a good college
Placements: Not sure about the percentage of placed students as it's final year for us. As of now highest was 7 LPA and lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCA, Accenture. Almost everyone who applied for internship is in Sutherland. Top role is BPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in VELS. The ground is too small and whole campus is small but classrooms are good and equipped with projectors and some departments have air conditioners. Hostel facilities are great. Mess food would get bored after 6 months. Medical facilities are less inside the campus, sports and games are okay.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good but not upto the mark in some subjects and maybe in other departments not sure. Curriculum is relevant to the course and it makes the students somewhat industry ready. Semester exams are difficult and the percentage of pass is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because i have interest in economics and investments. Best thing about this course is it's easy to understand and learn. The course should be more real life oriented apart from theories which we'll never use in life. I am particularly not satisfied with the campus life as the campus is mostly crowded. Extracurriculars are good.
