The infrastructure and faculty are good, but there are no placements and practical exposure.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for IT and CS branches, but not for civil and mechanical. Only Infosys and Wipro take part in the placement drives, and very few students get selected. The average salary package offered is 2-2.50 LPA. The college conducts training programs for placements, but they don't guarantee jobs. Many of our seniors are unemployed.

The college provides good infrastructure, good education and better placements.

Placements: As I am a pre-final year student, I have not attended any interviews or placements yet. But, the placements are going very well for our seniors. Many companies visited the college to recruit the students at the beginning of their 7th semester. Many of the students cracked the interviews.

The college has very good placements, faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. About 75% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA. A few of the companies that visited our campus are Infosys, Emphasis, Tricon, First American, SLK Software etc. Students were offered system engineer and other good roles. All the students have done internships. There is a placement cell in our college, and it is very helpful for us. They helped us by providing better placement training.

I'm partially satisfied as there are many improvements that are yet to take place.

Placements: Placements in the college are all pretty good. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. All the companies that visit the college for hiring students are genuine ones. Students have opportunities to be placed in different companies like Infosys, emphasis, and First American, etc. in the campus placements. Roles that are offered to the students are very much relative either with the student skills, or the vacancies. Since it's mandatory for all the students to get internships from VTU, the m...

It is a good college for good studies, and the environment at the college is good.

Placements: The placement rate of college is increasing over the past three years. Placement training is given to students when they are in the final year. Our super seniors were placed in many reputed companies. Our seniors got more opportunities to face interviews. Placements in the college are good.

One of the old and good engineering colleges in Mysore.

Placements: Every year, a good number of companies visit the college for placement drives. Also, placement training activities are provided for the final year students. Though the companies don't offer a very good package or dream package, they are well-established companies and provide good work experience.

A review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET).

Placements: Our college provides excellent placement training, and the placement rate is more when compared to other colleges. Around 90% of the students will get placed from every department, and a lot more students will get placed from the ISE department especially.

The campus environment is good for students.

Placements: The college is improving every year concerning placements. Placements for our super senior batch were good. But our seniors got more opportunities comparatively. Placement training is provided to students in their final year. You will find the best opportunities in this college.

There were better placements in 2017 and 2018.

Placements: The college does not guarantee 100% placements. Almost 80% of our seniors got placed. Individual talents and hard work of the students play a major role in placements. The college doesn't provide aptitude training except for the fact that some departments conduct aptitude tests occasionally. Pool campus placements are also available. Placements for our seniors batch were better than the previous batch.

A review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our institute are excellent. We get many good MNCs for placements, and most of my seniors are getting placed. This year, the best salary package offered till now is 4 LPA for a computer science department student. Moreover, we have many budding entrepreneurs and established startups. We will have regular placement training in both programming and aptitude. We have skill development programmes, industry-institute interaction centre, and faculty with industry background. We have tie-...

Placements: Placements for our batch has not yet started, but placements of our senior batch are going well. The placement rate of our college is 100%. The salary package offered is nearly 5 LPA. First American Corporation visited our college for placements. Internships will be provided as per the efficiency of students.

Review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college were satisfactory. 41 students were placed from our batch. 15 were into core companies, and the rest of them were into IT or BPO. I was offered placements from an IT company and a core company at Bengaluru. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Dell, and HP visited the campus. A job fair was also conducted in our college. Many students were into BPO too.

Dissatisfied with placements and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that good. BPOs (call centers) also recruit engineering graduates which is painful. There are below 20% placements, and many students didn't get placed even though they got decent marks. The packages offered are below 3 lacs per annum.

Real Review of vidya vikas institute of engineering and tech.

Placements: Not upto the mark. But the placement and HRD will hard try to attract many mainstream MNC for the recruitment. Usually CS and IS have a better chances of getting placed. Fortunately when I was passed out, folks from mechanical engineering also got placed.

Dissatisfied with the faculty on the campus. In 2017, the placements were good.

Placements: Nearly, about 90% of the students got placed in the companies like Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Bajaj, Whirlpool, Hitachi, etc., with the good salary package around 18 lacs per annum. This college is fulfilled with the highly educated professors as they always support the students. So, this college is most useful for those students, who want to become good in future.

Review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Only a few companies visit the campus for placements. Most of the students didn't get placed in the campus placements as the companies visiting the campus are less, and students are more. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visited the campus for placements. At that time, the lowest salary was around Rs. 15,000 per month. If we talk about placement, then this college is not that good.

Better college for studies. I would not recommend this college for placements.

Placements: The placements are not good when compared to Vidya Vardhaka. If they want their children to get into a good college or good upcoming placements, then this is not the college you are looking for, so go for autonomous like JC or NIE.

Overall view is vviet is good in case of campus environment, infrastructure etc.

Placements: Placement training is good but placements are average. Only IT companies and not core companies. But the training given to face the placement drive both in campus and outisde is good. I have passed all the aptitude rounds of companies which I attended.

It's a good college. It will be too good if they concentrate more on teaching practicals.

Placements: The placement opportunities here are less compared to other colleges. Though other colleges bring placements for below first-class students too, here, most of the companies offer jobs for distinction students only. I am lucky to get placed in one of the companies as I have a percentage of below first class.
