It is the best college in Mumbai for M.Sc. IT.
Placements: Placement opportunities in VSIT are good. It depends upon the students whether they want to attend for the placement drives or not. The college provides good offers for the students. Mostly, the students are either working with a company and side by side studying for M.Sc. IT or else they are pursuing it full time. The salary packages offered are ranged between 2-7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. No one does internships in M.Sc. IT.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided here are great. The infrastructure is really good. We have CCD, V-lounge, at our campus. There are various enjoyable games to play like pool, carrom, chess and PS4. The Wi-Fi functioning is smooth. It has strong connectivity all over the campus. Classrooms are spacious and always cleaned. The library is full of books covered on various topics like management, IT, commerce, etc. There is no hostel facility on the campus as well as no medical facility. Canteens served good quality food to eat, and the cost is also reasonable.
Faculty: Teachers here are really helpful when it comes to academics. They are highly knowledgeable and qualified. Almost all the teachers have their masters in either management, information technology or commerce. Some have even done their PhDs, and some are pursuing it. The course is completely relevant to the industry. It definitely makes the students industry-ready. The teaching methodology is different than other colleges.
Other: I wanted to pursue my masters, as I have already done my bachelors in information technology. The college should arrange more seminars and lectures of industry stalwarts and experts to enhance the knowledge of students. There are two annual festivals which are Verve and Vigour. The former is an intra-college fest, and the latter is the inter-college fest. There are a lot of extracurricular activities to stay engaged throughout the year.

This is the best college for infrastructure and placements. I recommend this college to others.
Placements: Placements in our college are just good. Almost 100% placements are offered to students in college. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. All the well-known companies visit our college to hire students. Students feel happy to get placed through college placements. Well-known companies visit our college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. Classrooms are air-conditioned. All the facilities from labs to gymkhana are provided in the college. The fee we pay is worthy as they provide us with good infrastructure. High-speed Wi-Fi facility provided in the college is awesome. The library has all sort of books to refer. You can even take the books according to your need.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are well-trained. We get industry exposure. Workshops and seminars are conducted in our college. The course curriculum is according to Mumbai University, and it is up to date. The courses offered here are wide. Even part-time courses are offered to students.

Vidyalankar, a college for enjoyment with discipline.
Placements: The VSIT organises campus placement every year before the final exams. Bunch of companies come with a suitable package, such as Wipro, L&T, TCS, Tech Mahindra and many others. Most of the time, companies offered technical posts, but the non-technical posts are also offered to some of the students. Eligibility criteria and the selection process are transparent and vary from organization to organization. Every student gets the fair chance, but everything depends on your capability. Sometimes, the low and average student gets placed before the toppers. Apart from the campus placement, the college gives reference to other companies for the students who did not get the placement on-campus until 2 years after leaving the college. The VSIT have an independent placement cell.
Infrastructure: The A/C classrooms with projectors are provided. Five sophisticated computer labs with modern IT infrastructure, and a sophisticated library where you can study and research are available. Only 2 books are allowed to issue on 1 identity card for 7 days, after that, you should pay fine of Rs. 5 per day if the books are not submitted on time. Wi-Fi is enabled all around the campus except the classrooms. Gymkhana and two playgrounds are there but lack of equipment regarding number. Two canteens are there to serve you good quality and hygienic food, but the taste is average, 1 cafe coffee day and a big place for vehicle parking are also provided.
Faculty: Well-experienced and energetic faculty members are dedicated to each subject. They are always ready to solve your problem if you are poor in studies but depends on your sincerity. No special treatment is given to any student. They are always supportive if you are a handicapped one like me. The course curriculum is according to Mumbai University. More than 5 seminars will be conducted on various trends and technology, independent personality development program with Dale Carnegie. One sports day and two cultural events are organised. One industrial visit per year is for sure. Research and paper presentation competitions are conducted. Conduction of aptitude test and the mock interview with adequate study materials are made.
Other: 75% of the attendance is compulsory for each subject. If you do not attend, then the college management will send a letter to your parents. Details of the parents with a photo are taken during the orientation only. So you cannot bunk the college. You need to have a sense of calculative in bunking the college. 24*7 CCTV surveillance everywhere, except the restroom, so don't even think to do anything wrong. Don't mess up with the security, especially, in the matter of ID card. Short clothes are not allowed for both boys & girls.
