B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

The faculty is doing an amazing job for the students.
Placements: Among the students who pursued mechanical engineering with us in 2024, nearly 70 percent have already secured employment through campus placements. The packages offered were very good, with the highest being 8 LPA and an average of 4 LPA, as well as a minimum package of 3 LPA. Approximately 56 percent of students have completed internships spread across various organizations. Some of the top recruitment companies are AGI Glasspac, Larsen & Toubro, and 24/7.ai. Tags such as designing and manufacturing, through which various products and structures are made, seem to be key here.
Infrastructure: The college offers facilities like free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, libraries across the blocks, AC labs, seminar halls, an auditorium, and project labs. The facilities available in the hostel were also adequate based on the fees. The food was delicious in both the hostel and canteen. Games like kabaddi, volleyball, cricket, and basketball are played regularly in the college. Medical services, like an ambulance and treatment, are available in the college.
Faculty: Yes, for sure, the faculty members were really helpful to us. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their courses. The teaching quality has been excellent, with good explanations. Our course curriculum is excellent; it has been designed by specific officials, and everyone follows it. It is making many students industry-ready. The semester exams in the college were not too tough, but we should never take them easy. The pass percentage was also decent, with around 70 percent of students passing the semester exams.
Other: This course is the best path for me, as it provides many options in my career, so I chose it. Improving the standards of the laboratory would be great. Services with full entertainment activities like musical nights, fests, farewells, freshers' events, crowd meetings, tours, concerts, and festivals would definitely be a great addition to the college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2027

Good facilities with a good campus crowd.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiting company in my course. About 20% of students got internships from TCS for my course. Penetration tester is one of the roles offered in the course.
Infrastructure: Facilities for students are very well maintained. Computer labs contain all resources that students need, including computers, and they also have secure connections. Classrooms are very spacious and separate for every department. Library has all the books related to respective departments. Hostel is also very well maintained and looked after. Food quality is excellent and hygienic, both in mess and canteen. Sports are encouraged, and college has courts for every sport. College has a medical room, which always has a lady doctor present.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and qualified. They are supportive and understanding of students, providing various resources for the subject. Course curriculum covers everything that a cyber student needs to be ready for the industry. Pass percentage for exams is 35%. Semester exams are not that difficult with the right amount of preparation.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because I was a computer enthusiast, and hacking fascinated me. I wanted to learn how it works. Ethical hacking and pen-testing are the best, in my view. College only has an annual fest, and other than that, there are small fests for festivals. Surroundings are very peaceful.

My version never judges just experience.
Placements: Around 30% of the students per branch have been placed. The top company that has come for placements is Microsoft. Most of the top roles offered by the college were to an analyst post regarding data to the company requirements. Many were not provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good yet no compromise on that but WiFi to students ***. The labs had the equipment required but those were not up to date, many were not helpful to the students to learn better. But the food sometimes gets better and not.
Faculty: Few faculty were helpful, but few weren't. The semester pass percentage per class was 60%. The course curriculum was relevant but many faculty would not follow that curriculum. That course curriculum makes students industry-ready yet deprives them of their confidence.

Faculty was good but dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: Around 30% of students were placed in our course. The lowest package offered was INR 2.4 LPA, and the highest was INR 6 LPA. There were no major top-recruiting companies. About 40% of students secured internships. Due to the recession, the placements were significantly lower compared to our seniors.
Infrastructure: The college provides basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, water, and air-conditioned labs. The canteen food is decent but not exceptional. I am not aware of the hostel facilities. There is a designated sports time every day, and students are encouraged to participate in tournaments.
Faculty: Most faculty members are friendly and knowledgeable. The difficulty of question papers depends on the branch; for our branch, it ranges from medium to tough. Supplementary exams are more challenging than regular ones. Overall, considering the course structure, faculty, and exams, I would rate them 4/5.

I'm not satisfied due to the college management lack of responsibility, although faculty is good.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placed, but the salary package is average. The highest salary package was around 24 LPA, but it was not secured through the college, so I'd say it's around 8 LPA-10 LPA. Only a few students can grab this job. As for internships, I haven't seen many in college, as our institution doesn't allow 3rd-year students to take internships.
Infrastructure: The old infrastructure of the college is not very good, but the new block is well built. A major drawback of the college is the network issue, as they don't provide us with the Wi-Fi password and there is no proper signal on campus. It becomes difficult to use mobile phones in case of need. As for the hostel, I don't have an idea because I'm a day scholar, but I hear many complaints from hostellers regarding hygiene in the mess.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in this college. They are talented professors, and the course curriculum is average, it could be better. As for the semester exams, it is not hard to pass because we receive proper guidelines and guidance from the faculty.
Other: I think, as a computer science student, we should have more opportunities for hackathons and coding events. For a good college life, there should be at least one event every 4 to 6 months, but we have fewer events and hackathons.

Not satisfied with the college and the infrastructure, but the faculty are not so bad.
Placements: Placements are not actually good. Actually, the last year's highest package is around 6 lakhs, but some of the faculty are really good, but the management is totally a waste. They always look over the attendance but never look after the student development and always wanted to charge money from the students, even for a small reason.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure looks like a school. The facilities and very low labs are available only once in a week, only for theoretical studying; no practical teaching. The hostel is good but the food at the hostel and canteen is not that good. We need to change things a lot in the college.
Faculty: Actually, as per the degree, teachers are well qualified but not knowledgeable, so they can't clarify the things if those are out-of-the-book exams, and similar things are very strict and well performed in our college but always want to deter the students.
