Many factors just like difficulty level of question paper, past year cutoff trends, seat availability, reputation of Institute, number of candidates qualified the exam, number of candidates appeared for the exam, number of candidates shortlisted for selection round and the ranking of the college.
Yes, CAT is one of the exams whose scores are accepted for admission to Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM). However, VJIM also accepts scores of other exams such as XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, and ATMA. The minimum CAT cutoff for VJIM is up to 75 percentile. To be eligible for admission to VJIM, one must have a Bachelor's Degree from a UGC recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST), followed by an Essay Writing round, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
The XAT Cutoff 2025 has not been released yet. However, according to the VGIM Cutoff 2024, the XAT Cutoff was 60 for admission to PGDM programme for the General AI candidates. In 2023, as well as in 2022, the XAT Cutoff was also the same. For more details, click here.
