Review of Vimala College Autonomous Thrissur.

Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in the BA Functional English Course. The highest, the lowest, and the average package offered in B.A. Functional English showed an increase of almost 21 percentage points in the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during 2022 placements, when compared with 2021. An increase of almost 100 percent offered to PG (2-year) students during 2022 placements when compared with 2021. Top recruiting companies: South Indian Bank, Zifo, ESAF, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. 80 percent of students got internships at Deloitte. The highest-level position available is that of professor. Many top companies visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in the B.A. Functional English Course, like free Wi-Fi and e-classrooms. The classrooms are also equipped with smart boards. The language labs are very good; it's called 'Chomsky'. The library is very good, with more than 1 lac books, and there are new arrivals every week. I reside near the college; I did not choose a hostel. However, I heard from my hostel friends that the college hostel is very safe for girls and has the best rooms and other facilities. The canteen is a favourite place for students of our college as it serves a variety of food items. It is always clean and neat. Sick rooms are available in our college with needed medicine all the time. Our college gives importance to sports and games. Sports have been encouraged at our college.

Faculty: Yes. The teachers were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is the most important school-related factor influencing students achievements. So, the teaching quality is very good in our college. The curriculum followed at college comprises the modern idea of learning and is updated with day-to-day developments in respective fields. A 3-year course has 6 semesters. Each semester has an internal exam worth 40 marks and a semester exam worth 80 marks. It is a little bit difficult, but through the best classes provided there, we can achieve anything.

Other: I chose this course because I love it. I want to build my career through this. Each teacher gives personal attention and care. It paved the way for my future. Campus is very beautiful. There was a college day. The college conducts many tests and intercollegiate competitions. There are NSS and NCC too. Apart from this, the arts and sports wins are very strong. The college encourages all kinds of extracurricular activities.

Our college provides dynamic infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. More than 300 jobs are offered in this course. Students can do online tutoring. If you study well in this course then you can become a teacher, professor, freelancer, writer, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities. Library, garden, park, labs, canteen, store, gym, sports area, swimming pool, and media room are available. The hostel is very decent and well-cleaned. Good and tasty food is served. The Wi-Fi connection in college was very bad.

Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Few teachers are very strict. Others are very friendly. It is the best women's college in Kerala. If you study, there is no difficulty in semester exams. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest. After choosing, it has become more interesting to me. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are available in this college. Many activities are also held on campus.

The college focuses on providing the best quality education to its students.

Placements: There were not great placement opportunities available for our course at this college. Most of the students in the course were going for their Masters or government job preparation. The average package offered in our course was between 3 and 4 LPAs. The top recruiters at the college were some research institutes for our course. The college focuses on providing the best quality education to its students.

Infrastructure: Vimala College has good infrastructure and facilities for the B.A. Economics course. The college has all the necessary facilities for its students. The library and canteen were available on the college campus. Our college also promotes sports and provides multiple sports facilities to the students. I have not opted for the hostel facility.

Faculty: Vimala College has a team of highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers. All the teachers at this college were helpful and supportive of the students. The quality of the teaching was also good. The course curriculum of the college was relevant. Exams conducted at our college were not hard to pass and almost all the students passed our course.

It is a NAAC accredited A+ grade college with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our course every year. Many students of our course are university rank holders for the past years. Many top recruiting companies offer placements for our course students. Internships are not provided in our course but students have to do a big project work in their final semester.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our college like free Wi-Fi and e-classrooms. Library is very good with more than 1 lakh books and there are new arrivals every week. There are 2 hours for the library every week. Canteen is a favorite place for students of our college as it serves a variety of food items. It is always clean and neat. Sick room is available in our college with needed medicine all the time. Our college gives importance to sports and games. It was in the 3rd position in all Kerala-level sports competitions in the previous year.

Faculty: Principal of our college Dr. sr Been is an influencing person. All the teachers are very helpful and well-qualified with post-graduation and Net qualifications. Most of them use electronic devices very effectively. It is an autonomous college. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester. Exams are not difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: Many events are organised in our college. Fine arts day was celebrated a few weeks before which gave a wonderful experience for students. Our college gives importance to extracurricular activities. All the departments conduct many quiz competitions, seminars, and workshops. Some of the staff are in charge of scholarships. Many scholarships like post metric scholarships, e-grants, and Vidhya Sammunnadhi are provided.

Review of Vimala College.

Infrastructure: It is a beautiful college. The campus has an amazing infrastructure with spacious classrooms. The classrooms are also equipped with smart boards. The library is the most loved place. The canteen also provides great food, and its quality is good. The campus is cleaned every day and is student-friendly. The hostel is near to the college. Meals are available at only Rs. 30. Many cultural programs are conducted here. Every student actively participates in all programs.

Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified and were helpful in our college. Their teaching quality is very nice. I think the curriculum will make students industry-ready. Semester exams were not much difficult but average. At least 50% of marks were needed.

Other: During my tenure, about 40% of students in our college were studying my course. The top recruiters here were ICICI Bank, South Indian Bank, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The placements were offered by top recruiters like Goan Institutes, Infosys, etc. Roles offered were teacher, journalist, writer, etc.
