There are no entrance exam requirements at Vimala College in order to be admitted to the BSc programs. The following criteria are used by Vimala College to determine admission to the BSc program:

Students should have passed the Science stream 10+2 exam or an equivalent test from an accredited board.
A minimum cumulative percentage in 10+2 of 45% (or 40% for reserved groups) is necessary.
Physics, Chemistry, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Biology, and Electronics should be the subjects studied in 10+2.
Based on merit in the 10+2 exam results, admission is given. You do not require a separate entrance exam score.
Students must apply directly, along with their 10+2 transcript and supporting documentation, to Vimala College.

Review of Vimala College in Kerala.

Placements: Our alumni got placed in various sectors, such as core jobs, non-core jobs, and banking. Some of them shared their start-up ideas with the placement cell. And they help them develop their concepts. So we have a strong alumni network with our seniors through social platforms.

Infrastructure: We have a high security system on campus as well as in hostels. So our parents never worried about us. We were able to get nutritious foods in our hostel mess. And there are free wi-fi facilities available on our college campus. And our laboratories were too good.

Faculty: Our faculty members ask us to concentrate on both academics and placements. They encourage us to participate in sports activities. So we had won a lot of trophies in sports tournaments. It's very much easier to clear semester examinations with the help and guidance of our faculty members.

Vimala college in Kerala.

Placements: Placement training often takes place at our college. Starting from soft skills training to interview preparation, they had put in a lot of practice. Moreover, 45 companies approached our campus for recruitment. Those companies had given over 500 offers to our students.

Infrastructure: Students from various places came here to do their higher education at Vimala College. It's a friendly environment to develop our skills and we have a lot of opportunities to work for our passion. We were also asked to participate in sports in addition to placements and academics.

Faculty: We should follow the principles and maintain the decorum of our college. Our teachers were strictly checking on this. We have supportive teachers and they often check our dress code. And they were good at teaching and making us understand all the concepts.

Vimala College Autonomous, Thrissur - My overall experience.

Placements: 45 percent of the of the students were placed in the mathematics department of companies like TCS, Accenture, ICICI prudential life insurance, and Goan Institute International Confederation of Education (GICE). TCS offers 3.33 LPA, Accenture offers 3.44 LPA, and ICICI Prudential offers 2.85 LPA. The highest package is 3.44 LPA. Roles offered by companies are package app development associate (Accenture), graduate trainee (ICICI prudential life insurance), and skill development faculty (GICE). .

Infrastructure: Every classroom is Vimala College has a projector facility in each class. In the mathematics department, there is a departmental computer lab. So it is easy, accessible, and helpful for students. Computers in the lab have Wi-Fi connectivity, and students can use it, but students can't get college Wi-Fi for their personal devices. There is a large library with a garden library arranged in it. There are a lot of books in the library related to my core subject, mathematics, but there are not a wide variety of English novels by new and young writers.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and almost every teacher in Vimala College Autonomous, Thrissur, is a Ph.D. holder. They are very supportive and helpful to students with every academic need and purpose. But some teachers only support academic things and are not supportive of extracurricular activities and the arts. Our curriculum is the same as that of Calicut University. The curriculum is good, but if more practical knowledge and skills needed for higher-level exams and jobs are added, it will be more helpful. Vimala is an autonomous college, so they conduct exams and publish results in the correct time without any lag. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. The pass percentage in the mathematics department is 99 percent.

Other: I chose Vimala College Autonomous, Thrissur, because it is an autonomous college and conducts exams and publishes results fast and in correct time. I selected Vimala College for B.Sc. Mathematics because I heard that the faculty members in Mathematics department are good. If Vimala College arranges more internship opportunities to students, it will be great way to expand our skills and experience. Vimala College conducts many programmes like college day, union day, ethnic day, Onam celebration, christmas celebration, Holi, etc. And each department conducts their own departmental programmes frequently.

It is an excellent college with academics and extracurricular activities.

Placements: Almost 70% or 80% of students get internships. In the psychology course, you can't achieve a role in any company. You need M.Sc. to get placed in any field.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available when a small amount is paid. Labs are very good, and classrooms are huge. The library is a whole building with technology. We have to scan our ID cards to enter the library, and that is recorded too. The hostel has average facilities. The quality of food served in the mess is average, but the quality of food available in the canteen is good. There is a sick room for sick students. Sports have been encouraged at our college, and many students have been participating in many events and winning them.

Faculty: Our teachers try to complete the syllabus within the allotted time. Some teachers aren't so good, but you can still manage to understand their lectures. We can reach out to them for any help we want. They will help us with it. They sometimes provide us with notes or materials that can be read. This course curriculum is relevant because it is a B.Sc., but it doesn't make students industry-ready for now.

Other: This course helps us learn more about ourselves. It is an amusing course. You get to know what happens inside our minds and the importance of mental health, which is not prioritized in India. Every student, whether they need it or not, should have access to counseling. Our college is famous for conducting events. This college is not only the best for academics but also for extracurricular activities. This college encourages every student to participate in something. Many events are conducted by each department, and it is fun to go to college. There is no ragging because the seniors are sweet to the juniors. They don't treat them like juniors. When the course begins, the scholarship office will provide students with information on how to apply for scholarships. There are add-on courses in the last hour of every three days where we can choose a course of our own and study it.

The college is awesome and I would highly recommend this to you for a better future.

Placements: First of all, my course was B.Sc chemistry. About 40% students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course was 50 LPA and the smallest was 5000 PA. The top recruiting companies are Parekh group of companies, Jumbo bag Ltd., People First Consultation Pvt Ltd, Bharat Petroleum, etc. About 50% students got internship in good companies like Bharat Petroleum, etc. The top roles offered by the course are chemical lab survivor, ph developer, lab MLT in higher hospitals and labs, etc.

Infrastructure: Good facilities available in our course are high-speed internet Wi-Fi for all the students, good chemical labs with all the facilities, and plenty of classrooms for combine studies and lab examinations. There is also a good great wide library for reference. The quality of food was not so good. There was also good medical facilities and chances for sports and games.

Faculty: The teachers were very much qualified and helpful. The teaching quality was above average. It is very interesting to know that some of the teachers have completed their courses from IIT, Chennai. The students will be all right after they go for B.Sc chemistry. It makes the students industry ready.

Other: I took this course because I was very much interested in chemistry. Now also I say that my selection was right. I think that the food on the hostel need to be more improved. I think more lab assistants want to be kept in the chemistry labs. The outer view and inner view of the college is mind blowing. The celebrations of college was also good.
