Good infrastructure & campus life!
Placements: As I’m in 2nd year rn, I haven’t heard a lot about placements happening from my course. From what I have heard from seniors, the placement rate is moderate, with the highest packages reaching competitive levels. Some well-known companies recruit here, but internships are mostly self-initiated.
Infrastructure: VIPS Infrastructure is obviously the best. Talking about BAJMC specifically, the video studio, radio room, and labs are just perfect. It allows us to gain practical skills essential for the media industry. Though VIPS doesn’t offer any hostel facilities, you need to go for PGs and flats.
Faculty: Good! The faculty of BAJMC is both knowledgeable and supportive. Most of them are industry-related. Other than that, the syllabus is not that accurate as per the course. I think more practical classes should be added, other than theory. Other than that, the faculty is fine.
Other: Overall, VIPS will give you an amazing campus life.

Good placements, educated teachers.
Placements: Excellence service, the lowest and the highest package available. Internship recruiting companies, good clientage. Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, good food quality, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms also good. Canteen and medical facilities are good. There is good Wi-Fi, good labs, clean classrooms, good library. Also, there is good quality of food, clean hostel, and many games and sports.

Solid Infrastructure and Supportive Faculty, But Placement and Industry Relevance Need Improvement.
Placements: The overall placement experience was somewhat unsatisfactory. While some companies participated in the placement drive, they were not of the desired level. The sessions related to placements were satisfactory but could be improved. Additional support from the faculty would be greatly beneficial.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, with well-maintained classrooms, air conditioning, functional labs, and fully equipped radio and video studios. The library offers a wide range of books. The canteen food is decent, with some items being quite good in terms of taste.
Faculty: The teachers were extremely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing all the necessary resources and support, which made the learning experience quite satisfactory. The course curriculum is comprehensive, covering almost all aspects each semester, but from an industry perspective, some gaps exist, as the practical demands of the industry differ from the theoretical knowledge taught. The semester exams are more challenging than average, but with good preparation, they are manageable, and the pass percentage reflects this balance.

VIPS-with great infrastructure but with highly unhelpful teachers.
Placements: VIPS is a great college in regards to placements. 60%–70% students got placements in the BJMC course. The package went from 2.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Hindu, Zee news, and Indian express. 85% students got internships in Paytm, etc.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, I feel it is so clean and well maintained. There are proper water coolers around the campus. The ground has so much greenery with flowers. The washrooms are so hygienic but at the same time, sometimes the AC doesn't work.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but they are rude to you and not helpful. Teachers store my files regardless of how much money I spend to scan the pages. The curriculum gives a summary of all the topics and fields available in the course. The semester exams are not that difficult so the pass percentage is higher.
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to go into the field of media because it is wide and there are many options to choose from. I wish the teachers were a little more helpful than rude. Connectivity to our college is great, as there are 2 metro lines near it. Talking about the fests, there are hardly any good fest as the campus is not that big to accommodate many students.
