English Hons. at Gautam Buddha University
Placements: To be honest, this university does not provide any kind of internships nor placements. This university has really bad placements. You really have to find the internship yourself through your sources. So there is no point in taking admission here if you are looking forward to better placement after your course.
Infrastructure: For this course, there are two classrooms available. The classrooms are not really the best out there. The furniture is not of good quality, plus the rooms are air-conditioned which do not really work. The classrooms have projector screens that have not been used for a long time. The whole university has a problem with internet, so don't even think about using phones in the classroom. The university has a big library with every kind of journal and book available from different fields. About the hostel, you will get a single-seater room with an attached balcony. The room has a bed without a mattress, a table, a chair, an almirah, a bookshelf, two lights, and one fan. You have to use common washrooms. For girls, you can't go out after 7 p.m., but that's not the same case for boys; they can go anytime, anywhere. The quality of mess food is not that good; you can feel sick of it within some time. You will get four meals in the mess with a different menu every single day. If you don't want to eat in the mess, then there is a canteen in the girls' hostel that opens until 10:00 p.m. Apart from that, the university has a few canteens where you can have food. The university has a dispensary if you are feeling a little sick, and if you want to get admitted, then you can go to the nearby hospital under the guidance of the caretaker. The university has different kinds of sports available. If you want to get training in some sports, then you can sign up and get it done under the guidance of coaches. There are multiple stadiums available for different types of sports.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in this particular course are Ph.D. holders or scholars who are certainly qualified and knowledgeable about the course and different subjects. They will really help you to overcome the problems you are facing while studying. Their teaching quality is up to the mark as they will make the class interesting and fun-loving, so you will not get bored and will learn new things. I can say that the course curriculum is relevant, but it lacks the necessary skills to make the students industry-ready. When I came to know about the course curriculum, I can certainly say that it is better than some universities out there. The semester exams are not easy, nor are they difficult. You can easily pass the examinations with good grades if you have listened to the lectures in the classroom. The pass percentage is around 75 to 80.
Other: The main reason I chose this course is that I am really fond of literature and the thoughts the writers put behind their work. I certainly know that this is a vast field, and I want to explore it and learn more about it. The best thing about this course is certainly the different types of works of different writers and poets you come across and what you can learn from that. You will surely build your own perspective and way of thinking and looking around the world. As I mentioned above, this course doesn't provide the necessary skills to make the students industry-ready. I wish they could improve it and introduce some better teaching methods to develop this. This university does not conduct a lot of events and fests, so you will be disappointed if you are looking for that. The crowd is not really that good, but it was average to deal with. You can find it a little difficult to reach here if you don't know the proper route. The campus surrounding is really peaceful and full of nature; I am sure you will find so much peace here. The university does provide scholarships if you apply through the UP scholarship provided by the government, only if you belong to this particular state. The different departments organize different types of extracurricular activities that you can participate in.

    Review of Gautam Buddha University.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our course, but interviews took place in the previous year for other branches. Workshops and seminars are arranged for students to attend and indulge in creative writing and practicals such as debates, open conferences, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-built. There are individual rooms with LAN cables. The food served is average. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Medical facilities are available. Hostels are strict regarding clothes, and electrical devices such as routers, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable. They use several methods to teach students. Students have to do practical assessments based on their skills. Exams are neutral.
Other: Surroundings of our college are beautiful. Fests and events are hardly organised. Scholarships are provided to deserving students. There are separate bands for dance, singing, and poetry.

Management is poor, but infrastructure is pretty good.
Placements: My course placement is really poor, and their main priority is science students. As for internships, students have to search for them on there own. There are several companies that approached the university, mostly IT companies, but there are platforms like StudyLance too.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good; it's state government University. It covers 511 acres, has it's own library, hostels (both boys and girls), indoor stadium, shopping complex, faculty and 8 different schools for different courses, etc. The campus is quite peaceful and calm.
Faculty: Permanent or senior faculty for my course are really helpful, very professional, and polite. The only problem with guest faculty is that they change every semester or even in between, and not all of them teach well. Every semester, they conduct 2 exams.
Other: I wanted to explore more about the English language and I have indeed explored it a lot more, and my vision for that subject is different now. The crowd is basically local. I wish my campus could impoverish it's management.

If you're hoping for a college with good placement drives this college is really out of league!
Placements: There is basically no placement here. Students have to arrange for themselves looking for jobs. There are few placement for students from management background but for technical background it's just useless. I have my friends from technical background none of them got any opportunity from college.
Infrastructure: This university has world class infrastructure. All classes are centralised air conditioned and have Wi-Fi all over the classes in different schools. Hostel is also good but the mess food is not up to the mark. We had to complain so many times regarding food.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but that depends upon the course which you have opted like there is lot of politics going in between teachers. Management faculty members are good but technical faculty for courses like b tech are the worst. There is nepotism in many departments.

Do not be fooled by looks.
Placements: The Department of European Literature and Modern Languages is quite a good programme to pursue; the teachers and colleagues are supportive and approachable, but the coordination among the department, university, and students is not appreciable because we don't get information on time. Except for this, other areas like placement and extracurricular activities are quite good.
Infrastructure: In our college, the classrooms are not equal; some are spacious but others are not, and we do have the system of Wi-Fi, but unfortunately we aren't given the password while our own network of our phones is non-approachable. The library is big and spacious, but the books of the English Department are not much, even our academic novels are not there. For technical departments, it is a good source, but not for generic departments.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but not everyone. Classes seem to be irregular, and there are some teachers who don't mark attendance honesty. Apart from this study being good, while our teachers make the papers, there are full chances of partiality and biasness. We used to have exams every month, no matter if the syllabus was complete or not, which seems to be the drawback of this university resultant: they are after money.
Other: I chose this course because I wasn't left with any other options, and I am enjoying the learning and outcomes. I wish the teachers should be trained; they need to learn how to teach their students, which they also lack so many times. They make mistakes due to their overconfidence, but if there are something like teacher training programs that need to be attended, then this will be fruitful for the teachers who used to teach as assistants or who are newbies. Events and campus surroundings are great, but the scholarship scheme is not for everyone; it is for only those who are from UP, which makes it hard for other quota students and general category students.
