Placements: The placements are average. Some 20-30 companies visit the college. Mainly, startups and small companies came to the campus, but mass recruiters are not visiting the college. The students prefer to attend pool drive for the companies like Infosys and many other reputed firms. The firms like LNT, Infotech, and MuSigma used to hire from college in the past, but unfortunately, they have not visited yet and didn't know the reason.
Placements: The placement opportunities for computer science, information science and electronics & communication are fairly decent. But the opportunities are less for the branches like mechanical engineering, which is the same in most of the colleges. Not aware of the salary packages offered, but were good. A few got placed in reputed companies with almost 6LPA package.
Placements: Our college has provided us with the best placements when compared to other passed out batches. Most of the students got the job in the campus recruitment only rather than searching for a job outside the college. Some students got the highest CTC of 6 LPA and some others got around 3-4 LPA. Many MNCs have visited our college for recruitments. Most of the students got a job in different domains like IT jobs, mechanical jobs, civil and some financial services, etc. Now, all of them are living a go...
Placements: The placement for the senior batch was quite good as compared to our batch. Almost 60% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was 5 lakh per annum and the lowest was 1.8 lakh per annum. Few companies that visited the campus were Intel, HCL, TATA, Yodlee and HP. The roles offered were software engineer, technical support and software tester. Only 2 students got internships in my batch. The highest stipend was 9000 rupees and the lowest was 2000 rupees. ...
Placements: Placements are really good here. From the 7th semester, all the companies start coming with good packages. Even after the final sem exams are over, one can attend the placement till the next year. Placement officer Mr. Sundara Murthy sir motivates and encourages the students for the placements.
Placements: There is a single room for placement activities and the placement officer is a useless guy and is not at all eligible to be a placement officer. All they get is BPO/KPO, that too, after successful selection no offer letters are offered. Placement activities take place only for the namesake and advertisement sake, just to post the company's logo in the college advertisements. Don't expect that core branches will visit. Your career is a waste if you study mechanical engineering here. ...
Placements: Placements are good but the selection is not that good. Most of the companies have no criteria which is an advantage, even if we don't score, we have a chance of getting placed. Placements were really good last year compared to this year, so let us hope for the best as still, placements are going on.
Placements: Placements are a nightmare in this college and not even a single core company visited the college. Strictly speaking, only 4 people got placed from mechanical, out of which two were placed in Infosys and other two got apprenticeship training in some company for a year. And you will be persuaded to attend all the software companies or tech support jobs even if you're not interested. So, in total, the placements for mechanical are bad in this college. For other branches, it's just average. ...
Placements: No placements are offered. They will force you for some placement training which is of no use and won't bring any companies into account. Don't expect any placement offers. They will impose rules and regulations of IIT but won't teach any better. Don't expect any good companies except call centers and institutions where you have to study again for placements. Worst condition of placements. 99% of students from this college are not placed in the fourth year. ...
Placements: Technical placements are good enough and could be rated 6.5 on a scale of 10 in all branches like ME, ECE, CSE, TE, ISE for the batches 2015 & 2016. Students from 65% and above were eligible to attend the interview processes. Salary starts from 1.25 LPA to 8LPA. In 2016 Cap Gemini, Infosys, Info-tech, Micro-land, HCL, West-line, Merchant Navy, Linde India visited for campus drive. The roles offered for students were mostly of system support engineer, technical support associate, software develop...
Placements: Placement-wise, the college is average. The percentage of students placed from ISE/CSE branch were around 30 to 40 %. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary package was 2 lakhs per annum. Few companies who visited this college were TCS, Infosys, L&T, Subex, HCL, Syntel, Microland etc. The roles were that of an associate software engineer and technical support. Most of the companies ask for 70% aggregate in B.E and few ask for 60% throughout. So if you are good at st...
Placements: The placement for my batch was good. I heard that the placement for the 2017 batch students is bad. I got placed in 3 companies from my college- Microland Westline Ship and Capgemini. Thanks to the placement officer and the new principal who helped me in getting placed in these companies. Now I work for Capgemini. Hopefully I'll lead a good life ahead.
Advantages: 1.College is in the heart of city. 2. They do not charge extra fees for attendance etc. Disadvantages 1. No placement. 2. Campus is not big. 3. Tight schedule. College is good and administration is not bad. Telgu speaking students will have an added advantage. Faculties are good. But no encouragement for technical growth outside college. Faculty are encouraging and cordial.
In terms of education, it is far better than other colleges. The campus of the college is not that good. The mechanical department of our college is very good and supportive and they help the students with every problem. As far as I know the placements of the mechanical department are moderate as compared to the other departments. I think the reason for this is that Bangalore is an IT city. This is why the other departments have a good response in terms of placement.
The canteen of the college is very small ‘Maurthi Omni’ that sold rice from its trunk. We weren't allowed to go to other colleges for extracurricular activities. They give placement in C Grade Company. There were some call center companies that came for placement. The faculty was demotivated. Formals were compulsory. The college does not have a field to play. The washroom are not clean.
College is good to some extent. Teaching is not that great. Campus should have been bigger of an area. But the location is just at the right place. Also, placements here is pretty good. Around 25 companies come to recruit people. Specially, information science is the best stream here. Thanks to the head of the department.
I am a student in Vemana Institute of Technology of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The college has a very good faculty, who are always caring and cooperative towards the students. Especially the faculty of Electronics and Communication department is very good. However the infrastructure of the college is in a very bad state. Not even a single component works properly in the laboratories. The principal is a man who is more concerned about his own luxuries than the students’ facilities...
Classes are good. Lab are good. When it comes to fest or cultural activities, the support is less. Sports activities are very less. Campus is not at all good with Just a building. Canteen that we have has average food. We have good hostels in BDA. But a good place to hangout is city center and some malls around.
The college isn’t appreciable, but can be lived with. Labs are well equipped with modern apparatus, classrooms are decently maintained and the library is spacious. Although the library has a good number of books, majority are those fat books which students never even think of touching. The actually usable ones are few and are always issued to someone or the other. Also, the campus has no appropriate sporting facilities. Overall, good college as compared to some other outside city colleges.
Especially lady faculty are shameless in spite of teaching they look into person’s personal life. Men's faculty are very good but campus is so small but it is koramangla lot of shopping complex and restaurant are there nearby. Placement is average as internal faculty won't give marks properly as they are giving from their pocket. They treat you like school children's you won't feel like in college.
