A short note on my college.

Placements: Currently, I'm pursuing English honours. As per my knowledge, I got to know that for the past two years, students and the students of the final year used to get recruitment from various fields. One of the recent recruitment was from Senco Gold and diamond. Which recruited some students from our department also.

A review of the college by a 1st semester student.

Placements: 70% of the students were placed as of my knowledge. I didn't know about the lowest but the highest package was 20 LPA. The placements were good, as I am told by the seniors. As I am a semester 1 student, I don't have extensive knowledge about the placements.

All about my college experiences .

Placements: I am currently pursuing English honours. I don't have knowledge about the companies which recruit from our college. But recently Senco Gold came for the recruitment. Recently a summer internship is also going on for those who are not willing to continue after the 2nd semester.

Good placement, internships, great teaching faculty and campus.

Placements: There is a good amount of around a hundred students in B.A. Journalism Honors and B.A. Journalism Multidisciplinary combined. The college gives out internships in a fair amount, especially more from this year since internships are mandatory. The students get internships from companies like News 18 Bangla, TV9 Bangla, ABP, etc.

Vivekananda College: Presidency College of South Kolkata.

Placements: There are 30% to 40% of students placed in my course in different media houses. The students basically do internships, and that is yearly 60,000 Rs. Top recruitment is from various small media houses and online platforms. Very few percentages of students got internships from my course, and the companies are also small. The top role is either to do higher studies or join a media house.

The Placements opportunities are extreme in Vivekananda Coll. The minimum salary of 1.2 Lacs p.a to 3 LPA was offered when I was there.  In my time, I have seen companies Deloitte, Dell, E&Y, HP, TCS, KONE, Fidelity, Officetiger etc. Every year close to around 50 compamies visit the campus for recru
