A:

Bachelor of Arts - Batch of 2025

Good Campus, Moderate Academics, and Poor Placement.
Placements: Not many students get placed in our college as our college's placement cell is not that active. There are no internships being provided to the students, and even if they are, the college's placement cell does not promote much about it either. The passing-out batch usually goes for websites and apps like Indeed or LinkedIn to look for internships and jobs for themselves. The teachers are also not much involved in the placement process or providing placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice, though it could be better. It is, in fact, a very big campus with greenery all around and is very eco-friendly. The classrooms are big, but the furniture is very old, and the desks have writing all over them. Some of the doors to the classrooms are broken. Not all the systems or computers work in the computer labs. The washrooms are kept in poor condition, are not developed, and have no soap in the soap dispensers.
Faculty: The curriculum is nice for my course, which is Computer Science in the Bachelor of Arts program. We get to learn from the basics, like Python, to deeper levels like machine learning and more. We have additional subjects to broaden the horizons of the course and not narrow it down. The exams are held once every semester, with the usual internal examinations and external practicals.
Other: I chose this course as it provided a great combination of subjects and allowed me to learn on a larger level.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2023

Boring life during graduation.
Placements: We have two sections of B.Com (Hons), each containing 40-50 girls. Our college doesn't provide placements in the B.Com (Hons) course. Other courses also don't have placements. About 30% of students do internships from other companies, not from our college. Our college doesn't have internship facilities.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college. Library's infrastructure is good, but it doesn't have enough study material for students. Classrooms are good enough for seating. Availability of food in the canteen is nice, offering items like chili potato, idli sambar, patties, etc. Sports facilities are very minimal.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. Teaching quality is average, as they assume that students have already studied the chapters. They teach very quickly, aiming to complete syllabus in a month or two. Semester exams are moderate, depending on student. Pass percentage is around 85%-90%.

A glimpse of Vivekananda College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Last year the placement rate was 45% in the college. The top recruiter was Bank of America. The highest package was 4.2 Lacs per annum. Sales manager, customer relationship, and many more departments were available during the drive.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is okayish, not so good. The location of the college is good. There are many nearby cafes in Anand Vihar for students where they can chill. There is no college hostel available. Although you can opt for nearby PG, there are many available.
Faculty: The quality is just okayish because teachers are not student-friendly. There is a problem of attendance; you have to maintain 40 percent anyhow, otherwise you will not be allowed to give semester exams and the course curriculum is quite good; it's almost the subject of engineering or computer science.
Other: The area near the college is not safe for girls after 4 or 5 pm.

In love with the faculties and college, the best environment for education with better facilities.
Placements: Our course consists of 50 students, and the total number of enrolled students is 2200. It has its own placement cell, and different companies started by their ex-students provide us with the best platform for internships. They help us to enlighten different skills and help to make a different version of ourselves.
Infrastructure: It consists of smartboards, and every class has a projector. It has very airy classrooms with a total of 15 fans in each class. New benches and desks are provided, and the campus is very clean, covered with plants and trees. It also has a sports ground and a big auditorium, with the best canteen I have ever seen.
Faculty: Math department teachers are very skilled. They are very much attractive and focused. They are friendly and interactive with students, keeping them updated with all the notifications, notices, and curriculum. They teach in a very different manner, which is much more interesting.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Our batch is from the 2022–2023 B.Com. Many students get placed. The average package is 50,000 to 200,000. Many companies recruited students, like Datsme, KPMG, and Professional Utilities. A total of 30% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide hostel facilities. The college infrastructure is good. Every department has a different building. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the library. There are four labs; only two are good. The college canteen is very hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is nice. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach very well. Semester exams are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is 36%. The total theory marks are 90, and 60 marks are for internals, which are given by our course teachers.
Other: I like accounting; that's why I chose B.Com. The best thing about my course is that I can easily differentiate between wasting money and investing money. Now I can easily invest money and also advise my parents which investments are good or bad. However, the college should also give practical knowledge to students, like about Bitcoin and demat accounts. There are no scholarship facilities.

Life at Delhi University girl's college.
Placements: In my college, the placements were good in 2023. Almost 35% of students were placed. The lowest package was 2 lacs, and the highest was 3.2 lacs in the computer science department. The companies were TCS and Amazon. I got an internship at Amazon for three months, so overall it was good.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good for our department, as all labs are fully air-conditioned, including the library. The college has a lawn tennis ground, a marathon track, an open stage, and an auditorium. There is a nearby bus stand and an e-rickshaw stand that drops you off at the metro station.
Faculty: The college faculty is good and cooperative and helps with studies and personal problems. The college societies are quite active; I am in the dance society. The exams occur as class tests, not fixed internal exams with a schedule. The crowd is average, not so good.
