An honest review on VNRVJIET.
Placements: I am a lateral entry student. Got admission through ECET. I am pursuing 4th year of B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Till now, 7 students got placed in our branch. Average package is about 4 Lakh. Our college will get companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro and Deloitte during placement drive.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped with computers and LAN ports in labs. College Wi-Fi is also available. We do have canteen and sports ground to play. The college encourages sports too. Sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket, kabaddi are the played. We also have intra college competitions.
Faculty: We are following A19 curriculum, we have two mids and one semester exam. Both mids consist of 30 marks. Externals are for 70 marks. Average of mids are added in final results. Labs are good and well equipped. Faculty is good.
Other: We are the last batch with A19 curriculum, our juniors have R22 curriculum. This college has huge crowd. You'll get scholarships like pass etc.

Our college is second in Telangana state from EAMCET colleges.
Placements: In our college, we have better placements compared to other colleges. We have many opportunities in computer science engineering, data science, information technology, and other branches. They get the best packages. There is a minor degree which is provided for students.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is very good. We have many things in our collage like a ground, blocks, etc. Our college not only provides good infrastructure but it ensures that everyone utilizes that. Our college has a separate hostel which is very good in terms of food and infrastructure.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good because they help with many problems. They are only our first preference. The faculty and students do projects together which is useful for our college. Our college conducts many hackathons and makes students participate.
Other: I thing our college is second in Telangana state from eamcet colleges.

Satisfied with the good placements.
Placements: Placement is quite good, with about 80% of students placed. The highest package offered by Google is 40 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2 LPA. Almost 30% of students get internships with top multinational companies. J.P. Morgan hires a higher number of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. But the food is quite disappointing. The hostel is 1 kilometer away from the college. A bus facility is available. Wi-Fi is available in hostel rooms, but it is not up to speed. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. The mess at the college is the worst. Power backup is not up to the mark.
Faculty: Exams are conducted very strictly. A correction is not good. Most of the faculty is good and well-experienced. Mentors are allotted for every student in the college. Mentors will review the students' academics. Parents' meetings are held every semester after exams.
Other: I am interested in electronics. My course has good campus placement in college.

Very much satisfied because of good placements.
Placements: Almost all of us got placed, and the college provided everyone with at least one job opportunity. The highest salary package was around 50 lakhs per annum, which was offered by Microsoft. The lowest salary package was around 2-3 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package was around 4-5 lakhs per annum. The roles offered were analyst, consultant, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The rooms are well maintained, and the hostel is located about 1 kilometer from the college. A bus service is available to transport students to and from the hostel. The food is good, but I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. Wi-Fi is available in the library, cafeteria, classrooms, and labs, but the signal is not always strong.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very good at clearing up any doubts that students may have. They also go out of their way to teach material that is relevant to the industry. The labs and experiments that we do are very relevant to what we learn in the classroom. The pass percentage for each semester is 60%, which is easily achievable due to the preparation and the help that the staff provides in clearing up any doubts that students may have.
Other: I chose this course because I like challenging things. I also like the wide range of opportunities in this stream. We enjoyed the events and fests, and the connections we made through the different clubs were great. This campus is known not only for its academics but also for its fests.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Review of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: For the B.Tech lateral entry students entry back at VNR VJIET placements of consistency have been strong, with a high percentage of students securing procedures across diverse industries. 85% of students in the course secure placement; the highest package is around 20-25 LPA, the lowest package is around 5 to 8 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 to 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with AC, projectors, nice benches, and ventilation, as well as fans and lights, and we also have desks. The hostels have ACs. The labs are equipped with i7 generation computers, and the library is good too. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good.
Faculty: The teachers have 30 years of experience, and they are also highly qualified. In the first year, we have unnecessary subjects such as BEE, chemistry, etc., which are most common in most of the engineering colleges. The course is good, but difficult, and the past percentage is around 70 to 80% in our college.
Other: I chose this course as my passion. The best thing about my course is the computers and the most running technology in the running market. I wish to improve more about the course, such as some information, some syllabus changes, and also infrastructure development.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2026
3.6
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Infrastructure, academics wise college is good but coming to the fun side it will be a bit boring.
Placements: 70-80% of people got placed this year from the Data Science, and most of them got internships in Oracle and JP Morgan. The highest was 21 LPA, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA. The top companies are Oracle, JP Morgan, Chubb, CampX, PwC. They got their roles as web developers, data analysts, and the internship rate is almost 60% this year.
Infrastructure: Coming to the hostel, the hostel food will be okay. The snacks, as well as tiffin, will be good, but whereas the lunch and dinner will not be good. They have promised a gym, indoor sports complex in the hostel, but we don't have cardio equipment in the gym. If we have any medical emergency in the hostel, we should rush to other doctors as our hostel does not contain medical assistance. The labs will be congested, and the projectors do not work properly which are there in the labs.
Faculty: The faculty people are not that good for our department as this is still a new course, so most of the people are not so perfect with the subject. The curriculum is good, which enhances us to build the data analysis skills, but most of the important programming subjects are put in a single semester so that the burden for the student is increased. Along with that, we have front and back-end coaching, which will go online. The semester-end examinations paper correction will go strict, unlike other colleges; the pass percentage will be above 90%.
Other: The faculty strength, as well as qualified faculty, should be taken for teaching the Data Science related topics. Recently, the junior batch strength has increased, and the campus crowd will be more when compared to other colleges. The two tech events and one fun event will go on in the college. Some movie promotions will also take place, but for conducting the fest, there will be least support from the management.
