Review of VNRVJIET in Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements in our college are disappointing. Few companies visit the Mechanical and offer low salaries. They push us to IT jobs where we can only get low salaried roles. We are not given proper training for core companies rather, they always complain that we underperform during the drives.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, labs and all are good. Good hostel too. Decent food and good management. Everything is decent to a good range in the college. Wi-Fi is pretty weak in classrooms but good in hostel. There is a good library, but it is not used. I have done my B.Tech without stepping into the library.
Faculty: Some faculty are good, some are like psychos. It depends on your behaviour as well. Faculty expect everyone to be obedient and to act like a servant to them. Curriculum is good, depending on JNTUH. Exams are the worst regulations here in college. If you give 10,000, they pass the subjects.
Other: No further information.

Good private college and strong CSE.
Placements: For recent CSE & allied batches, about 80-90% students get placed, with the highest package around 51-90 LPA, the lowest 3-4 LPA, and the average 8-10 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, and Oracle. Many students (often 60-80%) get internships or PPOs in these or similar companies, mainly in roles like software developer/engineer, data or ML engineer, tester, analyst, and consulting/IT services roles.
Infrastructure: The revised text with repetitive characters removed is: Depth has Wi-Fi, AC classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a large library with resources. The hostel is clean with basic facilities, decent food, a good canteen, first-aid/medical tie-ups, and grounds for sports like cricket, football, and indoor games.
Faculty: Most students find the teachers helpful, highly qualified (often with PG or PhD and strong in subject knowledge, so teaching quality is usually rated very good. The autonomous curriculum is updated frequently with industry-focused courses, projects, and skill-based subjects, which help make students reasonably industry-ready, especially in CSE and allied branches. Semester exams range from moderate to difficult and are concept-based, with regular study and attendance, most students clear them, and the pass percentage commonly falls roughly in the 70-85% range, depending on branch and year.
Other: I chose CSE because of strong placements, good labs and interest in coding and AI. The best parts are the industry-oriented curriculum, projects, and active coding/hackathon culture that help with jobs and higher studies. Would like more flexibility in electives, slightly less strict attendance, and even stronger focus on cutting-edge domains. Campus has big technical and cultural fests like Convergence and Sintillashunz, many clubs (coding, drama, music, arts, NSS), a generally studious but friendly crowd, and decent sports and cultural events throughout the year. The College supports government and merit-based scholarships rather than large in-house fee waivers, and connectivity is fair with college buses.

Strong academics and industry-oriented curriculum
Placements: The pass percentage is more than 60 percent in our college. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, the highest package is 46 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. Students got internships: 20 percent FactSet, software development.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very good; each section has 1, 2, 3 sharing rooms. Food served is good. Labs, library, and sports seem good in VNRVJIET. Everything is good, and all the rooms and the hostel are clean and neat. Wi-Fi is also in good condition, no problem.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. They teach us very useful topics. Yes, it’s relevant and geared towards industries. Students feel that the syllabus can give more knowledge in our college. Not bad, 70 percent.
Other: Everything is best in the course, learning new things. Nothing should be improved. More events and fests in our college.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong placement record.
Placements: 70-80 percent up to now, and we have many more opportunities to grab for other students. The highest is 46 LPA, the lowest 5 LPA, and the average is 10-12 LPA. Infosys, Chubb, Planon, Deloitte, Edwisely, 80 percent, Amazon, Planon, Chubb, Infosys, etc. Roles are software development, data analyst.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are provided for my course. Quality of hostel is very good, and the food they’re providing is delicious. The canteen surroundings are neat. Every time there is a doctor available in our hostel, and sports and games are available in our hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. I rate 9 out of 10 for the teaching. The course is curriculum relevant. They also make us industry-ready and provide training for placements. Exams are moderately difficult, 75-85 percent.
Other: Supportive faculty, and they conduct workshops monthly. Good exposure to internships and projects, more focused, and provide the best opportunities for real-time projects.

Life of Mech student at VNRVJIET
Placements: Around 80 percent of our seniors in Mechanical Engineering are already placed. Core and non-core companies visit, with top recruiters including JPMC, Deloitte, and Google for tech/non-core roles. The placement process starts from the 2nd year, 2nd semester, and most students end up with offers. If you stay consistent with the curriculum and meet the skill requirements, getting placed is very achievable.
Infrastructure: The campus has multiple canteens that serve clean, affordable food for students. Supplies come in weekly and the meals are prepared fresh every day. You just need to stick to the crowd-favourite items for the best experience, and the fries are easily the highlight.
Faculty: The Mechanical faculty is knowledgeable and usually supportive, but you need to adjust to each professor’s teaching style to get the full benefit. The curriculum is structured to make you industry-ready, with practical subjects and add-on courses like business communication strengthening your overall skill set.

This college is satisfactory.
Placements: The placements are good. They select people for placements with people who cross their CGPA some certain threshold. The common one is 8.5 CGPA. If you have CGPA greater or above than this, then they will select almost for all companies, and some ask 9.0 CGPA. People greater than these will be placed. The percentage of them is 80 percent and the highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest 3.6 LPA, and average 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs and libraries they provide very good facilities for these. They also provide GPU systems and faculty also helps to complete your ML projects. And coming to the hostel, it is too costly and the food is below average and some days the food is the worst.
Faculty: The faculty are above average. They all are qualified and skilled and they have very good knowledge in their respective domains. But some of them lack teaching skills. And we need to adapt to some of their teaching skills, that means some faculty's teaching skills are a bit odd.
