Satisfied regarding teaching, labs, faculty, and placements, but the problems are food and hostel.

Placements: About 75% of the students get placed. Core and IT sector companies are the major recruiters. TPO of the college is good. If you have the best grade points, then you don't have to worry about placements. Also, choose CSE or IT because it has a lot of scope and placements are high. Companies like Atlas Corporation, Alfa Laval, Eaton, John Deere, Rakuten, and BPCL are the major recruiters. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA, and it was offere...

All round development and competitive atmosphere with every opportunity made available to exploit.

Placements: Placement scenario for my senior batch was a tad bit grim. Majority of the placement offers were from consultancy firms viz. Infosys, IBM, Accenture. A couple of core companies like Eaton Corp, L&T, John Deere did recruit the cream layer of students. Similar was the case with my batch. Off campus placements were amazing. Cadence design systems offered 12lpa offers to 3 students. Non technical companies like Principal financial services recruited a couple of candidates. All in all, the average pa...

The amazing life of walchand Student.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE and IT branch students. The placement percentage is nearly 90-95%. The highest salary offered as per my knowledge is 38.75 lacs per annum, for 2 students in the year of 2018 from CSE branch by Microsoft. Sorry to say but I don't know about the lowest package. More than 75 companies visit our college for the placements, and even Amazon comes for the recruitment. The students are offered with the different job roles in various fields.

Best Government autonomous college in Western Maharashtra.

Placements: With the highest package of 37LPA offered by Microsoft and almost 85% of the students placed this year Walchand has witnessed record placements in the year of 2018. Major companies that visits campus include BPCL, Direct, Barclays, Cadance, Veritas, Symantec, HUL, SiemensPLM which offers dream packages more than 10LPA also and a bunch of day sharing service based companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and Infosys also visit campus with packages around 3.5LPA and hire lot of students. Walchand College of Engineering. The institute with a lot of scope for improvement.

Placements: Students here are inclined towards GATE. Of those who appeared for placement, 90% got placed with the highest package of 12 LPA. The college lacks in bringing internships. Students themselves have to use their contacts for landing a decent internship. Companies like Eaton, John Deere and Atlas Copco provide internship with PPO.

This college is comfortable. Quite satisfied with the placements.

Placements: In recent year, there is almost 30% of the placement in core companies like BPCL, LnT, Atlas-Copco, John Deere, etc. With the highest package of 17.3 LPA by BPCL. Other than the core companies, nearly 25 students got placement in IT sector such as Infosys, TCS, Cap Gemini, etc. Overall, the placement is quite satisfying.

One of the best, if not the best.

Placements: Though I did not appear for placements, the college has extremely nice placement record. The average package is around 3.5 to 4.5 LPA, and the highest that I have heard till now is 36 lacs per annum. Accenture, Tata, and L&T are some of the major companies that visits our college.

Extremely worthy to get educated from WCE. Good facilities and good placement opportunities.

Placements: Walchand is famous for its placement opportunities. Many students apply for placements externally from different colleges. Recently, companies like Microsoft, TCS conducted recruitment process and picked few students. Taking about the electrical branch, placement opportunities are quite good. But for civil, it is not that good. The highest package offered recently was of 17 LPA.

Dynamite Walchand, in 2018, the placements are good, and less in core though.

Placements: Almost, everyone gets placed on the campus. There are good day sharing offers with a satisfactory number of placements. There is slightly less core offers compared to that of the day sharing. The procedure is well and simple. The salary package is ranging from 37 LPA to 2 LPA with an average package of college being 3.5 LPA.

Overall, the college is good. Faculty and placements are average.

Placements: Very few core companies visit WCE every year. Companies like Eton, JD, L&T, Siemens visit Walchand every year. But most of the students get a job in software companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM etc., but if you really want to join core electronics company, Walchand is not a good choice. If you are okay with any kind of job, then you will definitely get one.

There are good placements in 2017, but all the faculty are not good.

Placements: Placements for the B.Tech batch was very good. Four students of our branch were offered the package of 17 LPA, by Bharat Petroleum Limited. The companies like BPCL, IBM, Microsoft, HCL, Accenture, etc. regularly visit the campus. The internship is yet good because there is no chance of internship to all the students which is a drawback. The average salary offered was 4 LPA to 5 LPA.

Placements: The placements are very nice. The package offered to the students was low, but many people were placed. The computer science and information technology students were placed with the higher packages. Its very nice for the new students to join our college.
