XIMR A college for future Management Leaders.
Placements: Almost 90% of batch is placed, the highest package that came to college was 14 Lacs and the lowest was 4.5 Lacs. The top recruiting brands were HDFC bank, HDFC Ltd, Lynk, Decinal point, Kantar group, Reliance, ipsos. Roles were in marketing, sales, equity analyst. 100% of the students GOT an internship at brands like HDFC, Kantar, Aditya Birla, Axis bank, CG marketing, Confluence.
Infrastructure: The infra is fabulous and has state-of-art classrooms, we have separate case study rooms, separate conference rooms, GD rooms, hi-tech computer labs with the latest software like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft office. The hostel facilities are very limited, and the food is average in terms of quality in the canteen.
Faculty: The biggest USP is the teachers, most of them are Ph.D. and industry specialists, our full-time professors also teach at XLRI, JBIMS. The teaching quality is extremely high and very updated. Since 95% of professors come from the industry of more than 20-35 years they really make an attempt to make sure we are industry-ready.
Other: MS is a Mumbai University course hence recognized. Its a fulltime course and is recognised all over the world. The best things are it is very vigorous. The improvements could be made to eliminate some modules and include some more function-specific modules from year 1 itself. There is a lot of diversity and students come from various parts of the country. The campus is 150-year-old heritage campus and is located in a prime location in South Bombay.

Great faculty and infrastructure, but average placements.
Placements: XIMR has good placements. HDFC Bank is a major recruiter. Last year, the placements were slow due to the demonetisation. However, it has been slowly picking up. The average salary package offered is around Rs. 5.5 lakhs to Rs. 6 lakhs. If you are aiming to join a college solely for the salary packages, then this may not be your dream college.
Infrastructure: XIMR is in the St. Xavier's college campus with a big computer lab accommodated to every student. The library has some of the most amazing business publications like Harvard Business Review magazines, the Economist and Bloomberg. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good.
Faculty: XIMR has a wonderful faculty with some of the best professors. They are all extremely well read and have been motivating us to read and build up our knowledge since day one. Also, we do a lot of case studies, which help us to think out of the box. The course curriculum is very vast and can get very hectic.

Good Infrastructure, Canteen and good crowd.
Placements: Average packages lie between 2.5-3.5 lacs p.a usually. There is an equal mix of companies for Finance and Marketing that visit the campus. However until now, quality weightage has been witnessed for Marketing. 15% students get placed for final placements. There is a dedicated placement committee working under the leadership of core faculty who have been industry professionals for many years. Hence there is a mix of companies offering profiles in BFSI, Marketing and Sales.
Infrastructure: St.Andrews College is situated in Bandra in Mumbai. It has a functional computer lab, well equipped library and access to other infrastructure like Andrews Gymkhana and Andrean cafe. There is no official hostel facility, however arrangements can be made and strong recommendations can be sought from the college office. Some Classrooms are also air-conditioned along with the Assembly Hall Room, Conference Rooms, Girls Common Room & Boys Common Room.
Faculty: It primarily focuses on learning and development of students through exposure to great learning material created in the country and globally. It has a distinguished set of faculty, some visiting and core. Core faculty comprises of core academicians with industry experience hence the pedagogy has a blend of both aspects. Visiting faculty comprises of sound industry professionals, academicians at peer colleges providing wide and varied exposure.
