Exposure to industry and a good environment.
Placements: All students were placed during my tenure at XIM. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Axis, ICICI Bank, RBL, EY, and other reputed firms. All students got internships. Product manager, consultant, accounts manager, and many other good roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best facilities including a huge library, spacious classrooms, and a great Wi-Fi connection. Facilities provided by the residence management team are good. The quality of the food is good. All sorts of amenities are available. The campus life is very good.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and experienced in their areas. There is a relative grading. It helps students to compete in this competitive world. The level of semester exams is moderate. The course curriculum is completely relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: The course of RM makes students industry-ready and they can work in any sector. Students are always encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.

India's 2nd best MBA- RM course with 100 percent placement record for years.
Placements: XSRM has a legacy of 100 per cent placement for years. The highest package offer for the batch of 2018-20 is 8 13.2 lacs p.a. If we see the avg. placement package in the corporate sector then it is above 9 lacs p.a. Major recruiters are BFSI and Micro-finance.
Infrastructure: It provides the residential campus with world-class infrastructure facilities. Classrooms are equipped with modern technologies, 24*7 hrs of library facilities and Wi-Fi-enabled campus. This residential campus provides non- AC room for all the students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, even during the night they are available for mentoring students. We have National Colloquium on Rural Management every month where industry leaders from Rural Management enlighten us about the current situation.
Other: I chose this MBA- Rural Management because it gives MBA + Rural Management, rural management is a field of study which gives sense to you because of its dynamic curriculum and it has a good mix of rural development + industrial needs. It makes you different in the industry and course teaches us how to mobilize rural communities in an effective way. This course doesn't only teach from the industrial point of view but it creates a sense of responsible management.

I am very satisfied with the college.
Placements: Around 100% of placements were recorded in reputed companies of India like Decathlon, Amul, etc. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA and average salary package offered was 8 LPA. Roles offered was marketing manager, semi management jobs. The sectors are normally rural development, microfinance Bank, marketing, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: It is a Wi-Fi, and LAN enabled Campus. The library is stocked with research material, Books, journals, etc. In house doctor and 24x7 ambulance service is available. Fully air-conditioned smart classes with a microphone are available. Food served by the third party and quality is good. Hostel rooms are either single or double sharing having every amenities. I didn't face any infrastructure issues in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. PhD is mandatory for all teachers and have vast teaching experience. They use a holistic approach to make class participation mandatory. Faculty to student ratio is 1:10. Every 2-3 days, we attend leadership talks by prominent leaders in the industry.
Other: College fest named Xamboree had a footfall of 15,000 people. We have many core, functional and interest committees.

XSRM, a b-school with a difference.
Placements: The rural management programme at XSRM has a proven track record of placing all the students since the inception of the programme in 1995. The institute has dedicated placement team comprising of students, faculty members and full time placement support staffs.
Infrastructure: The new XUB campus where XSRM is situated now has all the modern amenities and infrastructures for a qualitative and conducive stay of the students. Well-equipped library, in campus food courts and cafeteria, playgrounds and modern classrooms are the few to be named.
Faculty: All the faculty members teaching at XSRM have rich field and academic experience. People from industries and related fields often visit XSRM as guest faculty members. Practical and case based curriculum including 45 days residential village immersion course and 6 weeks internships along with various projects, frequently updates course contents as per industry demand are few examples of XSRM's unique course structure.
Other: Student activities like Gramotsava, Xamboree, Spardha, Xuhotsava, Vaktavya, Abhivyakti keep the students involved throughout the year. These events help students learn leadership and team learning skills outside the classrooms.

A glimpse to the tidbits of my college.
Placements: I would say its descent not the best though. Please do choose your options wisely. Every kind of guidance provided but the only thing is since this is a niche course so you need to be flexible enough to handle each and every kind of situations. Rest upto you.
Infrastructure: I would say this is the best in the place it is located. One can enjoy life here to the fullest. Starting from library classrooms canteen gym everything is available and the night mess facilities are just awesome because that will help you survive the nights full of stress and assignments.
Faculty: I would say the best faculty members I could have ever got. Easily approachable for any kind of issues pertaining to the subject and always available to help you in every possible ways. The rigorous course curriculum is designed to provide you the best inputs and make you corporate ready.
Other: Not applicable.

With an NMAT score of 210, it may be challenging to secure admission in XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar), as their typical cutoff scores tend to be higher.
