Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Science Studies and Research, also known as YCISSSR is a private institution and a part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is located in Pune. The institute was established in 1986 by the BVDU. YCISSSR Pune Admission Process
At the PG level, the institute offers MBS programme with a course duration of two years. Apart from this, the institute also offers MPhil and PhD programme in Social Science and Social Work. Admission to all these programmes is based on the respective entrance exams and is conducted online through the official website of the institute. PG Course
- Admission to MBS programme is based on an entrance test conducted by BVDU, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI)
- Candidates, who have completed graduation in the relevant stream, can apply for the same
MPhil/ PhD Course
- Admission to MPhil is based on a written test conducted by BVDU, followed by PI
- A valid score in UGC NET is required for admission to PhD programme
- Candidates must have completed master’s degree in the relevant stream, to be eligible for these programmes

YCISSSR Pune Courses
At present, the institute offers three programmes. MBS is offered with a course duration of two years, consisting of four semesters. MPhil and PhD are offered with a minimum course duration of two and three years, respectively. Similarly, the maximum course duration for MPhil and PhD programme is five and six years, respectively.
