Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Science Studies and Research (YCISSSR) is a constituent of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The institute was established in 1986 in Pune, Maharashtra. Currently, the institute offers professional courses such as MBS, MPhil and PhD is various disciplines, including Social Science, Science and Business Management. YCISSSR Pune MBS Admission 2021
Master of Business Studies (MBS) is a full-time two-year programme offered by the institute. The programme is offered on semester system and consists of two semesters every year. Admission to MBS programme is based on an entrance test conducted by BVDU. Candidates, who have completed graduation in the relevant stream, can apply for MBS programme. YCISSSR Pune MPhil/ PhD Admission 2021
Apart from the MBS programme, the institute offers MPhil and PhD programme in a total of three specialisations. The seat intake of MPhil programme is 20 students. MPhil is offered with a minimum course duration of two years and a maximum of six. Similarly, the minimum course duration for PhD is three years whereas, the maximum course duration is of six years.
Admission to MPhil is based on a written test conducted by BVDU whereas, PhD admissions are based on UGC NET exam. Candidates, who have completed master’s degree in the relevant stream, are eligible for these programmes. However, the final selection of students will be based on the UGC NET/ written test scores and the performance in thesis presentation and PI. Eligibility criteria for both courses is mentioned below:

The admission process for all programmes is conducted in an online mode. Candidates need to register online through the official website of the institute.
