Placements in our college were good. Around 80% of the students get placed.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. More than 20 companies visit the campus to offer placements for the students of our department. Around 20 out of 60 students failed to fulfil the placement criteria. Among the 40 students who applied for placements, around 30 to 35 students got placed. I'm one of the students who got placed from our college. If you want to take admission in Nagpur Engineering College, then go to VNIT, Ramdev Baba, YCCE for campus recruitment drives. YCCE provides the best...

It is the 3rd best college in Nagpur.

Placements: Getting placed through this college is tough. There are 160 students in the computer science department, and only 70 of them got placed. However, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering has a very good reputation, and it's the 3rd best college in Nagpur.

Overall, the college is satisfactory.

Placements: As I am a civil engineering student, I got only two chances to attend the placement drives. The tech giants like TCS and Wipro also visited our college along with Mahindra. One PSU was also invited by our management with the political influence of college trustee, but it did not convey the results of the interviews until today which obviously tells about the quality of the education that the institute is providing.

Faculty members are good, but the college lacks in providing core placements.

Placements: Only computer science students get placed from college. Not a single core company has visited the college for placements. In my branch (civil engineering), only 5-6 students got placed in an IT company. It was the same with mechanical and electrical students as well. IT students get placed in IT companies as many IT companies visit our campus.

Faculty members in the mechanical department are fantastic.

Placements: Placements for CS and IT branches are good. But, it is not good for core branches. Around 3 to 4 companies visit the campus for core branches and select only 2 to 3 students. CSE and IT branches have 100% placements. The placement criteria are different for different companies. I think this needs to be the same for all companies. But, the best thing is that all the companies are trustworthy.

The college meets the expectations of any student as it is good in all aspects.

Placements: Almost every student is placed till now, and the same goes for the seniors. The salary packages offered range from 3.20-7.50 lacs per annum. Core companies, as well as marketing companies, visited the college for placements. The roles offered to students were of coder, tester, and developer. No internships were provided by the college.

I am highly satisfied with the studies and all facilities provided.

Placements: Placements in our college are almost good. Almost all the students get placed until the 8th semester, except for those students who want to opt for further studies. All lecturers guide us on how to get placed. Each branch is qualified for internships in 3rd year. Many companies from Nagpur provides internships to students.

It is an excellent college in Nagpur.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Amazon has visited our college for recruitment. They offered a salary package of nearly 3 LPA to 4 LPA to the engineers. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Companies like Infotech, Mahindra, Amazon, etc., visited our campus for recruitment.

We are satisfied with the infrastructure, facilities, event management, and placement drives.

Placements: Placements are good for the students of all the engineering departments. But most of the companies that visit the campus to hire students are software companies. Most of the MNCs visited the campus for placements. I attended the placement drive conducted by technical companies like TAL, Mahindra and Mahindra, and TCS, etc. I got placed in Q Spider Training Institute, Mumbai.

I'm satisfied with the faculty members present in the college.

Placements: Placements provided by the college are good. Placements are excellent for CSE, IT, electronics, etc., and are average for mechanical engineering branch. This institute is also good for students to get motivation. Placements depend upon the students' standards. TCS and L&T recruit many students every year.

I am proud to be a part of YCCE.

Placements: The placement season begins in the middle of September, during the final year of a batch. The placement rate was good since there was a boom in the IT sector in 2014. Almost 450 students out of 700 from our batch were placed in various IT companies and core companies. Internships were provided on the basis of merit and department. Almost all the students from the electrical department got internships. The placement cell was very good as most of the activities were student driven. The placement c...

A really good college in Nagpur after VNIT.

Placements: The year 2015 was great for IT placements in YCCE college. More than 90 students were placed in TCS. The other companies included Capgemini, L&T Infotech, and iNautix, etc. Few core companies also hired a bunch of candidates. They were Mahindra & Mahindra, Adani Power, and Triveni Turbines. There is a placement cell in the college, but students were hardly benefited by it, at least in 2015.

The college is creating geniuses since the beginning.

Placements: Around 500-600 students are eligible to participate in the placement rounds that are conducted throughout the year. Every company offers the lowest salary package of at least 4 LPA. Other than this, proper care is taken on grooming the students since their first year of the course. All the students have to qualify a personality test each year.

YCCE is a good college and probably on par with other colleges in Nagpur, especially RCOEM.

Placements: I know about my branch particularly, i.e., mechanical engineering. 8-10 students were placed in core companies like Mahindra, and 15-20 students were placed in Capgemini, and all others have been placed in IT companies like TCS. Overall, the placement percentage of YCCE is around 50-60% which is pretty good.

This is one of the best colleges in Nagpur. All the faculty are fabulous. Placements are good.

Placements: Nearly 70% of the students get placed every year. Companies like Mu Sigma, Capgemini, and TCS, etc., visit the campus every year for placements. The average salary package offered is approximately 21 LPA. All the students are offered internships. I don't know exactly about the highest and the lowest amount of salary package offered. Only a few core companies visit the campus for placements, but software companies visit the campus more often.

Really good infrastructure and great facilities.

Placements: Talking about placements at YCCE, it is one of the colleges that have very good placements. Many MNCs visit YCCE for placements with designations of an analyst and software engineer. In our batch, more than 10 companies like L&T core, Capgemini, TCS, Mu Sigma, etc. visited the campus for placements. The placement cell works at its best. We also have to go through a mock interview as we get trained for various placement rounds. Almost 70% of the students get placed every year.

Placements: Almost every single student who was eligible for placements got placed in a good company. Companies visit the campus frequently, and students are satisfied with their placements. The average salary package offered by IT companies was 3.50 LPA. Almost all companies from Nagpur visit the campus for placements.

Placements: The campus recruitment was good enough to have around 80% of eligible students placed. However few reforms in placements for pooling in more Core companies would help to have students take advantage of technical stuff and pursue research in the same.

Don't choose this college if you are aiming high.

Placements: The placements in the college were good. Our seniors have got good placements, but the major companies that visited the campus were IT companies, and the core companies also arrived for electrical and mechanical streams. The college must look forward to the core branches as well, so that satisfactory job opportunities will be available to every student.
