Sad reality of YCCE college.

Placements: As far as we know, the recession is going on in our IT industry. There is very high shortage of placements in every college. Students are getting placed one by one in this season with companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When talking to seniors, they told me the placement rate was 60%.

Dissatisfied by college but still good than having nothing.

Placements: Almost 100% placement in CT and IT department. The highest package offered is 7 Lacs per year by Mu-sigma and the lowest is 1.8 Lacs. Average package is about 3.5 Lacs per year. Accenture, Persistent, Mu-sigma, TCS, etc visit the campus for recruitment. Many other companies of Nagpur visit campus for placement. About 30% of students get internship from CT department.

Bad placement, good infrastructure, average quality of education.

Placements: Only 10% of students are placed in core companies and total 30% placement including IT companies. Average salary is 3 lac. The internship was provided by the college to only 10 students. The highest salary offered is 4 lac and the lowest salary offered is 2 lac including marketing companies.

Overall, it is an average and satisfying college.

Placements: The IT department has allotted 7th semester for internships. Recently, the electronics department has also started the internship pattern for a semester. The college provides internship opportunities in companies like Alacrity, Infocepts, etc. Otherwise, students have to look for their own options. The placement scenario was also good for IT and C-tech departments. Almost, all the students have got placed. However, for the electronics, telecommunication, electrical, civil and mechanical departme...

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha is the best place to learn.

Placements: The placement opportunities offered here are average as this college doesn't give every student a fair chance to apply for campus recruitment drives. The training and placement cell's in charge is not that good. He is arrogant, and he's not well-behaved. However, students respect him a lot.

Faculty members are good, but the college lacks in providing core placements.

Placements: Only computer science students get placed from college. Not a single core company has visited the college for placements. In my branch (civil engineering), only 5-6 students got placed in an IT company. It was the same with mechanical and electrical students as well. IT students get placed in IT companies as many IT companies visit our campus.

A really good college in Nagpur after VNIT.

Placements: The year 2015 was great for IT placements in YCCE college. More than 90 students were placed in TCS. The other companies included Capgemini, L&T Infotech, and iNautix, etc. Few core companies also hired a bunch of candidates. They were Mahindra & Mahindra, Adani Power, and Triveni Turbines. There is a placement cell in the college, but students were hardly benefited by it, at least in 2015.

YCCE is a good college and probably on par with other colleges in Nagpur, especially RCOEM.

Placements: I know about my branch particularly, i.e., mechanical engineering. 8-10 students were placed in core companies like Mahindra, and 15-20 students were placed in Capgemini, and all others have been placed in IT companies like TCS. Overall, the placement percentage of YCCE is around 50-60% which is pretty good.

Overall, the college is good with decent faculty and average placements.

Placements: Decent companies visit the college to hire students. Around 80% of the students of IT branch got placed through college placements. There are no placements for civil, mechanical, etc. Around 70% of the students got placed through college placements. The salary packages offered by the companies were average which is around 3.50 LPA. Overall, placements provided by the college are good.

YCCE is one of the best engineering colleges in NGP.

Placements: The placements in our college are decent. Majority of the placements are for the students of CS and IT branches. The average package offered is 3 to 4 lacs per annum, and the highest goes to 6 to 8 lacs per annum. TCS, Adobe, M&M, etc., companies came to the college for placements. The major roles offered to the students are entry-level. The internship is good, but the stipend offered is not sufficient.

A mixed reviews which will leave you confused (just like me), but specifics are mentioned.

Placements: Placements are good, one or other companies come often here. Selection percentage isn't upto the mark but it all depends on you. If you got the skills you'll be selected. Percentage might be 75-90%. HCL Nagpur is having a tieup with the college. Infosys visits every year. And abundance of core companies too for mechanical and Electrical.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure of the college.

Placements: The placement is good. A lot of good companies come for the recruitment and the college also provides a one semester internship to the studnets. These companies have their own eligibility criteria for the students to appear for the placements. This year I have seen a tremendous growth in the placement in our college. Many big companies came for hiring the studnets with an average package of about 4 lac's per annum. The highest package was of about 7 lac. Which was given to a civil student.

Ycce is a average college with a big name but small qualities.

Placements: Not lot of companies come here for campus placement. Topper students usually get placed in Core Companies like Mahendra With pakacge around 6lpa. Avearge package is 3lpa. CTECH E&TC and electronics have mass placement in companies like capgemini, TCS Placement rate in above branches has been decreasing day by day No Dream companies in ycce So in order to good placement ycce is not upto mark. Most of the people here get placed at only 3lpa. Ycce have average placement so choose wisely.

YCCE is degrading its quality.

Placements: The placements offered by our college are average. You will get a package of 3-3.5 LPA. Most of the companies coming nowadays are support based, so you will not get into development. Some of the BPOs and call-centres also come for placements. This college fails even in giving good placements once in two years.

Dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: From my batch, out of 1200 students, around 350 students were placed. The break out of 350 students is from computer technology (85 students were placed), electronic and telecommunication (35), mechanical (25), electrical (20) and the rest, I don't remember. The companies that visited the college include L&T Technology, Capgemini, Cybage, Wipro, TCS, Xoriant, Global Logic, Flour Danial, Epich Research, HFFC and Market Magnifi. Probably, more companies will be visiting this month.

My Review on Yeshwantrao Chavan College Of Engineering.

Placements: Tech Mahindra Ltd came to the college in the final year. We got a call in the August itself (same year). It is been 18 months I am working there. Initially, I underwent training for 6 months and now working on a project. I have been operating from Nagpur since April 2017. It is a good experience working there.

YCCE, the engineering college of Nagpur are creating engineers.

Placements: IT companies recruit most of the students. Some core companies also visit the college. Open placements are held from companies like TCS, Mahindra Triveni Turbine etc. The students are placed in TCS, Mahindra and other companies. Nowadays core companies are also arriving at campus. The students of all department are allowed to apply for the campus placements.

Decent placement, faculty , nice infrastructure, and good canteen, but poor library.

Placements: The placements in the year 2017 are not good, but it has not ended yet. Many more companies would visit the campus for placement, and I think, it would be enough for students, who are bright in studies can easily crack interviews. I don't have any idea about the placements percentage, but there is are good placements in all the branches like computer science, IT, etc., as the maximum, IT companies visit our college are core companies, but study in the core branches is good as compared to above t...

Placements: This year placement is very less as compared to last year. Even some company doesn't give joining letter till now date, and I'm a passout student of the batch 2013-2017. There is no facility provided by the college like the internship. If we go to the internship by our contact, then some faculty don't permit internship, and it is a very restricted college. A great college to learn and grow at. Not suitable to get a dream job though.

Placements: The college had good placement drives for IT jobs. This college does not receive extraordinary packages. The placement for core branches is very poor. T&P cell is very poor in this aspect. Major recruitment is via mass recruiters like TCS. In 2016, core companies came but offered a pathetic package of 1.8 LPA for civil and mechanical branches.
