Student Life of My College.
Placements: Placements are good in our college, and many of the students got placements with a good salary package. If you score good marks, the college offers a good salary package, but the percentage is only 20% out of 100 to get into internships, depending on the course. There's a placement cell that brings suitable opportunities for all courses, and sometimes specific subject internships are available. However, the stipend offered by those companies is sometimes too low, and some are unpaid.
Infrastructure: The college's library is fully air-conditioned and has many books with lots of authors displayed with rich collections. It has lots of well-equipped labs and computers connected with personal Wi-Fi. The cafeteria food is okay, not that impressive, and has limited items. The campus Wi-Fi is available for students, and the auditorium is also big. It has hospital/medical facilities too. There's no hostel, and it's a negative point for people who have to travel long distances away from home. The new building is not yet open for us, and there are no sports activities available.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and helpful, depending on the course and subjects. Some of them are really helpful, but many others are like they don't care. The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and some of them treat us like their own children. The professors have advanced degrees in their fields, and the teaching quality is also good with interactive student engagement. The exams vary from moderate to high, and the passing percentage is about 30%.
Other: First, I gave the board exams and scored 90.02%, and with a good score, I wanted to choose B.Com. Hons. as my course with the first priority. Then I gave the CUET and got selected for this college. The overall course is good and knowledgeable, and it is the most selected course for commerce background students. I wish to improve the quality of teaching for particular subjects. The events and fests are fine, and the campus crowd is good too. The scholarships are there for students. But there aren't that many extracurricular activities for interested students. There are clubs for students that are not so great and supportive.

Good experience overall, but some things can improve.
Placements: This college's placement cell is quite active, always trying to bring new opportunities to the campus. They also organize placement drives for final year students. The average packages in my college are from 2-5 Lacs, while the highest package I heard of was 12 Lacs per annum. They offer different roles like finance, sales, marketing, HR, etc. Companies like Internshala, EaseMyTrip, etc. have come to our college for recruitment. About 50-60% of students in my course get placed on average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the old building is not too great. The classrooms are spacious, but the benches are of poor quality. There is a ground in the college and teams for cricket, basketball, badminton, etc. There are two canteens in the college, both are good for hanging out, although the food is average. The library is great; it has a wide variety of books covering all subjects and additional books. The new building's infrastructure is great, but it is not operational yet. It is a 10-floor building with modern infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are great; they are willing to talk, answer questions, and encourage class interactions. The teaching is good but could be more organized. The course curriculum is relevant and covers related topics. The semester exams do require effort in order to pass.

If you don't get into North Campus college, you can consider Zakir Hussain Delhi College.
Placements: From my course, there was no placement. There were some placements from the arts department. The companies which visited my college were not so big. The college has a yearly placement drive of 2-3 days. As I was from the Science department, we did not have placement options.
Infrastructure: Hostel not available. Wi-Fi is available but not for students. Labs are good and lab staff are also very helpful. As the new building is not open yet, our classes were running in old buildings. The condition of the old buildings is not very good; some classes are too hot in the summer. The Zoology museum is very good; all the specimens were present. Library facilities are very good. Canteen food is average, you cannot eat it daily. No sports or games options.
Faculty: Some teachers were the best Zoology faculty of DU who taught us, but some were new teachers. For Zoology, I won't say they make you industry-ready, but they teach many things which will help in your Master's. For your subject file, you have to make it the old way by hand, and all the diagrams should be well drawn, which is quite tough.
Other: The college location is quite isolated. There is nothing for fun near the college except C.P. and Dariyaganj market. They did not take us for any college trips. Fests are okay, nothing great about them.

This college is the best college off campus .
Placements: The placement of this college is not as high; the percentage of the students who were placed in our course is approximately 75 to 80 percent. The highest package of our college is 14-15 Lacs. And the minimum package of our college is around 4-5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice; also, this is the best college off campus. There is no hostel facility at this college. There is a nice playground garden, and the new building is so awesome. All the facilities that we want are there, and there is less pollution in our college.
Faculty: I pursue this course because the faculty member is excellent, and also the faculty member has a friendly nature, and also the faculty member is so helpful in nature. The exam is also taken here very strictly and also provides all the essential things in the exam.

2Placements2Infrastructure5Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A college which is specifically designed for academically focused students.
Placements: The placement scene is pretty inactive in this college. Most students cannot find any good placements here, mostly B.Com (Hons) students get placement opportunities and Mathematics Honours students. So placements are course-dependent. Most students of DU visit the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of Delhi University for placements.
Infrastructure: As this is the oldest DU college, it reflects well in its infrastructure. If you think of studying, then the library is very crowded and filled with rowdy students. No facilities, poor infrastructure. The college has no proper canteen, and the computer labs are a total mess with broken seats, old PCs, and too much congestion. The new college building construction was completed in 2017, but it still hasn't opened. We hope it will open in 2025. Also, sports and physical activities don't happen much; the main ground remains closed. Although there is a massive modern technology-equipped seminar room and auditorium, there is a separate building for science courses, which has proper laboratories.
Faculty: Yes, this is the strongest part of our college that everyone raises. Our faculty members are great, with multiple years of experience and great expertise in their disciplines. The curriculum is based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which has skill-building courses like programming, public speaking, financial literacy, and more. The semester exams are passable if a student studies properly, devoting some time every day.
Other: My course is B.Sc. Honours Mathematics. Nothing really influenced me to take this course; it was just my personal interest in mathematics. There are Value Addition Courses and Skill Enhancement Courses under NEP 2020 for Delhi University, although the classes for these courses get canceled frequently, or the syllabus gets rushed. The execution of these courses needs improvement. They also teach languages like Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, which are compulsory to take, but they don't add any value to the employability of students. The annual college festival is Zeenat, which takes place in February. The college is situated in central Delhi, so it is well-connected to all parts of Delhi NCR. Popular tourist attractions nearby are Connaught Place, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Rajghat, India Gate, etc. There are scholarships available for students who perform well in semester exams, like the Mirza Mehmood Beg Scholarship of Rs. 1400 for humanities, commerce, and B.Sc. students.

Absolutely not so much satisfied but the crowd on campus and the teachers and seniors are good.
Placements: At least 40 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 12 lacs per annum and the lowest is 7 lacs per annum. Companies like HDFC, Axis, etc. are coming to our college for recruitment. 30 percent of students get an internship every semester.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities available in our college, like medical facilities or sports facilities. There is no Wi-Fi in our college but the classrooms are okay. The library is not so good for long-hour studies. There is no hostel in our college. The canteen food quality is also not good and hygienic food is not there .
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and some teachers are so helpful to students that they treat them like their own children. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college are average. The passing percentage of our college is 30%.
