Really good improvements to all aspects after being granted Autonomy in 2024.
Placements: A very high majority of students are placed through the excellent placement cell in ZCOER. Companies like Tata, Mahindra, and SKF are top recruiting companies for my course. Also, they provide in-course internships each semester which build up experience for the actual recruitment phase.
Infrastructure: They have projectors and a PC in every classroom along with suitable lighting for the projector. There is Wi-Fi available to every computer and also a student-accessible Wi-Fi too. The library has a good structure to it which helps in borrowing and returning books. We also have a digital library and a free-to-use section with computers.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and friendly. They are experienced and teach the Students well with engaging approaches to the curriculum. The difficulty of examinations is moderate and it can be paced with just the right amount of study. The course curriculum is relevant as the courses here are now B.Tech after being granted autonomy in 2024.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to pursue my interest in Aerospace Engineering which needs a Mechanical base. I wish they would improve the training on specializations.

I am satisfied because of faculty members, good placements, and facilities.
Placements: Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering, around 90% of students are placed in top automation companies. The highest salary package offered was 15.5 LPA. Many companies like Tata, TCS, Microsoft, and Google are recruiting. All students received internships.
Infrastructure: There is very nice infrastructure. Zeal provides Wi-Fi on campus. Well-furnished classrooms are available. A huge variety of books is provided in the library. Canteen food is also good. Zeal gives great importance to extracurricular activities. Hostels are also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable, providing support to each student. Teaching quality is excellent. The course is designed with the vision of making every student ready to work in the industrial sector. Exams are not very difficult. College is autonomous. Courses are well-designed.
Other: I chose this course because I want to explore every area of engineering. I have learned many things in this course. Additionally, I have many future opportunities to get a job in various fields of robotics and automation in the future of Digital India. College organises many events and fests for students. Campus life is very nice.

Students focus on obtaining a degree, not social activities.
Placements: The college lacks in offering guidance and support for placement opportunities with renowned companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Instead, they rely on mass recruiters visiting the campus, which is a common practice in many colleges. Additionally, the college fails to provide students with information or guidance regarding internships, as students are left to complete them independently and submit the certificates to the college. Furthermore, the college does not prioritize practical knowledge and lacks seriousness in terms of placements, resulting in only 30% of students being placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 5 LPA due to the college's negligence.
Infrastructure: Classrooms at an average level lack basic facilities such as Wi-Fi and a library that is not utilized by students. Additionally, the reading room is not well-maintained. There is a significant number of students who do not attend regularly. Due to the high cost of the hostel, students from Pune reside in nearby areas. However, the canteen offers good quality meals and basic food options. Sports and games are organized at a school level.
Faculty: The college administration is ineffective as they fail to attract enough admissions, resulting in delayed salary payments for faculty members who often leave every semester. Consequently, students encounter difficulties in adjusting to new teachers and face challenges in preparing for university exams, with limited opportunities for a social life on campus.
Other: Fest and campus crowds are not good.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, infrastructure, and facilities, and also fests.
Placements: The roles offered from my colleges are as follows: Tester, Devops, Assistant Manager, etc. Here, the placement ratio is 50%. So students are satisfied with the placements. The highest package last year was 14 LPA CTC. So I think this is a good college at low marks for placements.
Infrastructure: My hostel is a private hostel. My college doesn't have its own hostel. It has only Girls Hostel. So boys have to find other private hostels for staying here. Also, boys can stay in PG. In the local college area, boys can find many PGs like zolo, stanza, etc. Also, flats are available here. Flats are available here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. They can teach very well. They can clear concepts very well. Students are satisfied by their teaching. This is autonomous college, so they have their own syllabus; they don't follow the SPPU Syllabus. They also added extra curricular subjects like guitar, etc.
Other: I want to pursue a career in electronics and also computer. Here, campus life is better than at other colleges. Also, fests are so good, like Garba, Diwali, Udaan Fest, etc.

An Insider's Perspective: My Journey in BE Computer Engineering at Zeal College
Placements: 85% of students got placed in the BE Computer Engineering course offered by Zeal College. The highest package goes up to ₹12 LPA, the lowest is ₹3 LPA, and the average package is ₹5 LPA. Recruiters include TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant. About 60% were able to get internships in companies such as Infosys and Persistent, thereby securing top roles in some cases, like software engineer, developer, and analyst.
Infrastructure: The college offers modern lab facilities, a tech library, and Wi-Fi. Hostels are well-maintained with dorm rooms. The mess/canteen food is hygienic but a little less varied. Medical care is available, and sports facilities include cricket, football, and indoor games. They promote health alongside academics.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, thereby ensuring good teaching quality. The course curriculum is very relevant, aligning well with industry requirements, thus preparing students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are fairly balanced, with a passing rate of 85%, and there is a healthy balance between conceptual understanding and practical application.
Other: I chose BE in Computer Engineering for the perfect blend of logic, innovation, and industry relevance. The best part was hands-on learning and industry-aligned projects. The variety of electives could be improved. Some great fests, tech events, and extracurricular activities are conducted on campus. Connectivity to the city is good with easy transport. Scholarships are available based on merit. The fees for the course are around ₹4-5 lakhs. The campus crowd is rather energetic, with a good mix of academic and cultural events throughout the year.

There is a possibility of an increase in placement; after that, this will be a perfect college.
Placements: According to recent statistics, the average package of engineering is Rs 4 LPA, with the highest package of 12 LPA. Now that the college is autonomous, there is a chance of an increase in placements and packages. I hope the average package increases until my graduation.
Infrastructure: They do not have a boys hostel, and I suggest the college have a hostel for boys also. Nowadays, colleges give the excuse that boys don't want to live in hostels, so they do not have hostels for boys. They should also have Wi-Fi on the college campus for every student.
Faculty: Teachers keep an eye on each and every student. They have also assigned a GFM to ensure that students attend classes and get good marks in their exams. They have hired many inexperienced teachers after COVID-19. They should also have some experienced teachers.
Other: They do not give any student email addresses.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
