NID result 2021 for Prelims paper has been delayed again. The NID Entrance Exam result will now be released in the third week of June. Also, NID DAT Mains 2021 will be held completely online. Check complete details below.

National Institute of Design (NID) has delayed the NID DAT Prelims result 2021 yet again. As per a latest notification released by the institute, the NID 2021 result for Prelims for both BDes and MDes will now be declared in the third week of June. How to Check NID Result 2021?

All candidates who had appeared for the written entrance exam can check the NID result on the official website of the institute by following some quick steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of NID - https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2021/Default.aspx
  • Click on the result link
  • Enter email ID, date of birth and verification code visible on the screen
  • Click on Submit
  • View and download the result

NID DAT Mains 2021

All candidates clearing the Prelims exam will then have to appear for NID Mains 2021. The schedule for NID DAT Mains has not been released yet. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, NID DAT Mains will be conducted completely online this year.

NID DAT Mains for BDes Admissions

All candidates who have applied for NID BDes admissions will need to upload a theme poster on the assigned topic in PDF format in not more than 10 MB size. As per the official notification, β€œThe poster can either be done manually in any media and scanned/photographed to be uploaded or digitally on one A3 size sheet.”

Along with that, candidates will also need to upload a digital copy of their portfolio in PDF format in not more than 10 MB size.   

NID DAT Mains for MDes Admissions

All MDes candidates will have to submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP) with a maximum limit of 300 words to be typed and uploaded as a single PDF file of not more than 2 MB. Along with that, similar to BDes candidates, aspirants will also need to upload a digital copy of their portfolio in PDF format in not more than 10 MB size.   

The topics related to theme poster and questions related to SoP will be communicated to shortlisted candidates on their registered email IDs after the declaration of NID result.
