NIFT Admissions 2021: Situation Test postponed; Online Interviews to be held from April 19

NIFT situation test 2021 for BDes has been postponed. NIFT GD round for PG course admissions has been cancelled. However, the PI round for PG courses will be held from April 19. Check complete details below.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has postponed the NIFT situation test 2021 to an indefinite date. Earlier, the NIFT situation test was scheduled to be held from April 10-13. However, currently, the revised NIFT situation test dates along with the admit card will be released in due course. The NIFT admit card 2021 for situation test was released on April 1.

Along with postponing the situation test for BDes courses, National Institute of Fashion Technology has also cancelled the group discussion (GD) round held for PG courses including MDes, MFM and MFTech. However, the institute will conduct the personal interview (PI) round for all the PG courses in online mode from April 19 onwards. The NIFT admit card 2021 for online PI round will be released on the official website soon.

The changes in the NIFT situation test and GDPI schedule has been announced by National Institute of Fashion Technology due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. It may be noted that due to the same reason, the institute had cancelled the situation test for BDes courses last year. Now whether it will eventually cancel the NIFT situation test this year as well is yet to be seen.
