NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 LIVE Updates: Paper Analysis, Overall Difficulty Level, Reactions & Expected Answer Key

NIFT CAT paper will start at 2:30 PM. Candidates will be allowed to enter the test centre by 2 PM. 

According to the initial feedback, the NIFT 2025 GAT question papers for the B.Des and M.Des programs were of moderate difficulty. Therefore, if a candidate prepared well for the exam, they could easily attempt the paper.

NIFTEE GAT paper has been concluded. Students reaction will come out as soon as candidates leave the test centre.

The NIFT GAT exam is over. Candidate will be coming out from the test centre after dropping their rough sheets in the designated drop box.

NIFTEE exam analysis for GAT paper will be out soon after 11 AM with the candidates leaving from the exam centre.

NTA has negative marking for NIFT GAT exam: 

• For every wrong response, 25 per cent marks for the question will be deducted.
• No nagtive marking for unattempted questions.

Candidates who are taking NIFT GAT exam for BDes and MDes courses have will leave exam centre at 11 AM. GAT exam for all other courses concludes at 12 noon.

NTA will conduct the NIFT CAT exam for candidates who are appearing for admission to BDes and MDes courses. Admission to all other courses at NIFT does not require CAT exam. NIFT CAT 2025 will start at 2:30 PM in a PBT mode.

Several coaching centres start releasing the NIFT answer key soon after the exam is over. However, the official answer key for NIFT 2025 will be uploaded on the exam website by NTA soon after the exam is over.

NIFT exam analysis will be out as soon as candidates start to leave the test centre.

The first shift of NIFTEE 2025, i.e. the GAT exam has been started across all the exam centres as per the schedule. Once the exam is over, candidates will share the difficulty level of NIFT 2025 along with the expected cutoff, and overall exam analysis.

NTA will soon begin the GAT exam for different courses across all the centres. NIFT 2025 exam analysis will be out as soon as the candidates start leaving the test centres.

The first shift of NIFT exam 2025 will start at 9 AM. Candidates appearing for the first shift of NTA NIFTEE 2025 are now being seated inside their allocated exam hall. Whereas, some candidates are still approaching the NIFTEE exam centre.

NIFT exam is being conducted today across 92 test centres in 81 cities. The first shift of NIFT BDes will start at 9 AM.

Candidates appearing for NIFTEE BDes 2025 have to take the CAT exam as a PBT test as it requires candidates to use colours. Candidates can only use dry colours like crayons, pastels, and pencils during the exam.

NTA provides an additional 20 minutes per hour of exam time for eligible PwBD candidates appearing for NIFT exam.

Candidates will find questions in the NIFT 2025 BDes test from the following sections:

• Communication Ability and English Comprehension: 40 questions
• Quantitative ability: 20 questions
• Analytical and logical ability: 15 questions
• General knowledge and current affairs: 25 questions

Candidates will find questions in the NIFTEE MDes test from the following sections:

• Communication Ability and English Comprehension: 50 questions
• Quantitative ability: 20 questions
• Analytical and logical ability: 25 questions
• General knowledge and current affairs: 25 questions

NTA is conducting the NIFTEE 2025 today across 92 test centres situated in 81 exam cities. The exam will be held in both English and Hindi medium.

In the NIFTEE 2025 exam, the sections of the question paper are displayed in the top bar of the screen. Candidates can view the questions in a section by clicking on the section name, which will be highlighted to indicate the current section. When candidates click the “Save & Next” button after answering the last question of a section, they will automatically proceed to the first question of the next section. Throughout the examination, candidates have the flexibility to navigate between sections and questions within those sections at any time, as long as they remain within the allotted time. Additionally, a section summary will be available as part of the legend that appears above the question palette in each section.

NTA is conducting NIFT exam for Master of Fashion Management from 9 AM to 12 Noon. NTA is conducting the NIFTEE MFM 2025 exam in a CBT mode.

Candidates who are appearing for the NIFT 2025 MDes exam have to complete two papers: the General Aptitude Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT). The GAT will take place from 9 AM to 11 AM, while the CAT exam is scheduled for 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Candidates who have applied for NIFT 2025 BDes exam have to appear for two papers, i.e. GAT and CAT. GAT exam will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM. Whereas, the CAT paper for NIFT BDes will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Candidates should verify that the question paper displayed on the computer screen matches the subject and medium indicated on their admit card. If there is any discrepancy, it should be immediately reported to the invigilator.

NTA will provide blank paper sheets for rough work inside the NIFTEE 2025 exam hall. Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of each sheet and hand them over to the invigilator before leaving the test room. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of their answers.

Candidates must avoid wearing jewellry and accessories containing metal. Additionally, high boots, jackets, and hoodies with pockets should not be worn to the NIFTEE 2025 centre. Wristwatches are also not permitted.

Candidates appearing for NIFT entrance exam tomorrow must note that they should not wear caps, hoodies, high boots, jackets, or coats with pockets. Additionally, belts or other items containing metal, as well as wristwatches, are prohibited inside the NIFTEE test centre. Candidates must approach the test centre with simple shirts, trousers, and sweaters are permitted.

Candidates must carry a physical copy of the NIFTEE admit card at the test centre. Those appearing with a digital copy of the admit card will face denial in entry to the exam hall. Candidates appearing for NIFTEE for BDes and MDes courses have to carry two separate copies of the admit card for GAT and CAT papers.

NTA conducts NIFT exam in both CBT and PBT mode. The GAT exam for all courses is held as a CBT exam. Whereas, CAT exam for BDes and MDes is held as a PBT exam.

Candidates are required to fill in the necessary details, attach a photograph, and provide a clear left-hand thumb impression on their NIFT admit card before arriving at the test centre.

Candidates must carry the duly filled in self declaration form printed on an A4 size paper along with the NIFT admit card on the exam day.

NTA conducts the NIFT entrance exams to aid the admission process for the following courses:

• Bachelor of Design (B.Des.)
• Master of Design (M.Des.)
• Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.)
• Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.)
• NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA)- B.Des. and B.F.Tech.
• Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.)

Candidates must arrive at the NIFT 2025 exam centre at least one hour early. It is recommended to reach the test centre by 8 AM or earlier, as the GAT exam (1st shift) will begin at 9 AM.

NTA will conduct NIFTEE 2025 tomorrow, February 9. The exam will start at 9 AM with BDes exam.
