The Delhi University has issued guidelines for the preparation of question papers for the open-book examination.
According to the guidelines issued by the Delhi University, the open-book exam will not be conducted in online mode and will require minimum internet availability for download and uploading purposes, with the use of the latest phone.
All educational institutions, Universities, and colleges around the country were closed in Mid-March due to coronavirus outbreak in the country, and the lockdown imposed as a precautionary measure which is now been extended until May 31.
On May 14, Delhi University had announced that it will conduct end-semester exams for all the courses offered at the varsity from July 1. If the coronavirus situation in the country did not improve then it will hold open book exams as an alternative.
The DU notification further added that evaluation will also be conducted in digital mode and will be decided as per the departments’ discretion.
The guidelines issued said that the question paper will be based on the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and all necessary care will be taken while preparing the question papers for the disabled students.
The varsity had earlier directed all the stakeholders in the Departments and Colleges of the University to conduct revision session using online mode for three days to help students clear their doubts, solve their queries, etc.
