GATE 2021 application form to be available from September 14

GATE 2021 registrations will begin from September 14. IIT Bombay to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in 2021.

GATE 2021 application form will be released by IIT Bombay on September 14. As reported earlier, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be conducted by The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Bombay for 2021.

GATE entrance examination is conducted every year by either of the IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) or Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore) for admission to MTech/ME postgraduate engineering and science courses.

COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is responsible for the GATE 2021 seat allotment process for MTech admission at IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology). COAPS also has the authority to organise two additional rounds of seat allotment process through GATE which depends on the availability of seats in MTech/ME courses.

Steps to fill GATE 2021 Application Form

Step 1: Register on the GOAPS website 

In this steps, candidates are requested to visit - http://appsgate.iisc.ernet.in and it can also be accessed from the official website of the respective zonal GATE offices or the website of IIT Bombay (GATE conducting body for 2021).

Step 2: Fill the online application form for GATE 2021

In the GATE 2021 online application form, aspirants can log in to the official website of GOAPS using their credentials and fill the application form for GATE.

Step 3: Pay GATE 2021 application fee

After filling the online GATE 2021 application form, candidates are required pay the GATE 2021 application fee.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level exam conducted every year for admission to the MTech, ME and PhD courses offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs CFTIs and other government and private engineering colleges in India accepting GATE score. The scores obtained by students in the GATE examination are also used for PSU recruitment in India such as BHEL, DRDO, ONGC, NTPS, and other accept GATE scores for their recruitment of engineers.
