IIT Bombay Placements 2024: The final placement season for 2024 kicked off on Sunday across premier Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), including IIT Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Roorkee, Kharagpur, Guwahati, and BHU. On the first day of placements, several students received exceptional job offers, highlighting the continuing demand for IIT talent.

A standout offer came from Da Vinci Derivatives, which extended a remarkable INR 2.2 crore per annum package for roles based in Amsterdam. This is one of the highest offers for the 2024 placement season. The prestigious firm reportedly extended offers to at least three IIT Bombay students, according to India Today.
Competitive Offers from Leading Indian and Global Firms
Indian tech giants like Ola and Flipkart also participated in the placement process, offering competitive packages. Global companies such as Jane Street, IMC Trading, Nvidia, McKinsey, and Blackstone also joined the hiring spree. Jane Street extended pre-placement offers with a hefty INR 3.7 crore package, while IMC Trading shortlisted 10 candidates with a one-crore offer for its Mumbai office.
International Opportunities with High Salaries
International opportunities are another major attraction for IIT students this year. Quadeye offered roles at its Hong Kong office along with high domestic offers exceeding INR 90 lakh. Other top global recruiters, including Sony Japan, Pine Bridge, and GE Aerospace, further raised the stakes with their lucrative job offers.
