GATE: Free online classes to start from today by APSCHE
The Andhra Pradesh students can now attend free online coaching for GATE while sitting at home during this lockdown period.
The free online coaching classes of GATE for students in Andhra Pradesh will start from today. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada, and Yogi Vemana University YSR Cuddapah, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), will provide online coaching for free to GATE aspirants.
The coaching session will be done in a phased manner, and the first phase will start today, May 11, and it will finish on May 22, 2020. Those who have already registered for the online classes can check the overall subject wise schedule and other details from APSCHE official website.
The aspirants can also attend the class work through the YouTube link which will be given one day prior to that of the schedule of class timing in the JNTU registration portal for GATE classes. Students will have to login every day with their roll number and email id to access the link.
The entire syllabus of the subject as per GATE will be taught to the students in 12 sessions. Every session will be for two hours but can be extended for another 30 minutes.
Students are advised to join the session 10 minutes prior to starting. The students can ask questions during the session, as it will be held through YouTube live-streaming mode.
The subjects and schedule which will be taught in the next phase will be posted on the website on the last day of the current phase.
GATE helps students to get admission to the Master's programs and doctoral programs in Engineering, Architecture and relevant branches of Science. It is mandatory to qualify GATE for getting admission to the courses offered at MHRD-supported institutes and other government agencies. These institutes include IITs, IISc, NITs, IIITs, Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), and other universities in India. GATE scores are also used by Public Sector Units (PSUs) for job recruitments.
Only qualified candidates will be able to download the GATE Score Card after the declaration of the result. The score is valid for three years from the declaration of the GATE result date.
