Global Institute of Technology, (GIT) is the first private engineering college in North India to be accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC- UGC. The college offers BTech degree in seven major branches of engineering namely, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The college also offers two year full time MTech degree programmes in Production Engineering, Digital Communication, Computer Science & Engineering and Power Systems.

For the first time ever in the history of Global Technical Campus, GIT’s BTech programmes including Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Infrastructure:

• Campus : Spread over an area of 10 acres, Entire Campus is Centrally Air Conditioned, Lush green lawns, Six majestic Academic Blocks with Lifts, Wi-Fi enabled 150 Mbps internet connectivity, Ample space for indoor and outdoor sports and games, CCTV surveillance round the clock.
• Lecture Halls: Theatrical and Spacious, Well lit and Air Conditioned, equipped with modern teaching aids.
• Laboratories and workshops: 140 State of the art laboratories with modern & latest equipments, software and learning kits.
• Library: Stacked with latest Technical and Non- Technical books, Subscription of National and International journals, Delnet & E-Journals, More than 55000 books, remains open after college hours.

• Auditorium, Conference Rooms & Seminar Halls: One Air-Conditioned Auditorium with a capacity to accommodate about 500 people, Three Air - Conditioned Conference Rooms which can accommodate at least 350,150 & 100 people each and 10 Air Conditioned Seminar Halls to accommodate around 100 people each .
• Hostels: Seven Air Conditioned Hostels in the campus, Provision for triple sharing rooms for boys and girls separately, Spacious and well equipped rooms with attached washrooms, WI - Fi enabled internet facility, an exclusive common laundry facility, Hygienic and nutritious vegetarian food.

Support Systems: GTC provides transport facility for faculty members, staff and students throughout the entire city. There is also the provision of separate gymnasium for boys as well girls with all exercising stations and machinery necessary for fitness. A 24X7 In-House Health Center provides health care any time around the Campus. An exclusive air-conditioned spacious Cafeteria is available which provides hygienic and nutritious vegetarian food located right in the campus periphery. There is also a separate facility of indoor and outdoor games. The Book Bank facility from the library is provided to students to study from standard reputed books. Global Technical Campus also has ATM of United Bank of India with Extension counter. Round the clock security is provided in the campus.

Placements: GTC has recorded excellent placements with students from various discipline who have been placed in campus every year. The college also has tie ups with Lotus Education, Matrix Solutions, AMCAT & Monster.com for CRT & Placements of final year students. More number of industrial visits and tours are being organized to maintain Industry – Academia interface. The Innovation and Incubation Centre helps students to create awareness and give exposure necessary for business incubation. A number of counseling session are organized by Professional Counsellor for students and faculty. Anti Ragging Squads have been formed for curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions. The Campus is Ragging free and Tobacco free. GTC has constituted a Women Cell for prevention of sexual harassment of working women and girl students.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC Cell): Centre for Entrepreneurial Opportunities, CEO was founded by an elite group of students and faculty members, with a view to provide exposure to entrepreneurship. National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) also played an important role in the establishment of CEO.

Many student entrepreneurs from GIT have secured internships with companies of international repute. Student entrepreneurs from GIT have proved their excellence by clinching prizes at various entrepreneurship related events and competitions conducted nation-wide. To top it all, one of the student entrepreneurs from GIT has been chosen to represent India at the World Business Dialogue in Cologne, Germany as a student-entrepreneur.

GIT Jaipur was given an “Honor Roll” award in Entrepreneurship-Week 2015 & 16 for its extraordinary work in building support for entrepreneurship, engaging young minds by National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) Wadhwani Foundation.

Industry Institute Interface: Global Technical Campus collaborated with Automation Industry Association (AIA). AIA provides a common platform for industry and academics. Many events comprised of Experts Talk on Current trends, Panel discussions, Technical presentations and student competitions are organized at GTC to provide better industry institute interface.

Center for Excellence: GIT initiated a new venture in each engineering department called “Center for Excellence” to enhance the technical skills of students and fulfill the gap between academia & Industries. Vision of CFE to provide the excellent learning environment, which can enhance the learning ability of student to generate innovative idea in every aspects of life; it will help not only the individual but also complete society and nation. The mission of CFE to inculcate in students the professional and ethical attitude, effective Communication Skills, teamwork Skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social context.

Department of Human Resource Development: HR department is established to facilitate and strike a balance between professional and personal growth of faculty, staff and students in order to achieve success through best opportunities.  It organizes soft skills sessions on Relationships, Self-Management, SWOT Analysis, Students Etiquettes and Manners, Interview skills, Time Management, Self Awareness, Interpersonal Skills, Communication Techniques, CV preparation, etc. Mock Interviews and aptitude tests

Training and Placement Cell: The Training and Placement Cell of GTC plays a vital role and is gradually becoming a key department of the institute. The endeavor of the placement cell is to ensure 100% placement assistance to all the students. Since the year of its inception GTC’s training & placement department is headed by an active and competent faculty. The Head, Training and Placement Cell is supported by well qualified permanent training staff.
